Believe it or not, I've never ever seen a "rolling stones tribute band". I've never heard of one even existing here in Milano. Further: I've hardly ever heard a cover band play a stones song, and if so it is only the odd choice satisfaction. C

Loredana Bertè has quite a few problems now, but used to be a truly great singer. I would have loved to hear some of her best songs re-arranged keeping that italian 80's rock sound out of the studio. As far as no. 1 here in Italy is concerned, you reach no. 1 with 20,000 copies sold. C

They came with a device in place of the lower tone pot that allowes you to use a 1 - 3 combination (and may more). Indeed it "twangs" C

I had big expectations, Rage were a tight band and Cornell a wonderful singer (try the temple of the dogs cd to understand why) but I have to say that the first cd was quite a let down. Some very good numbers, but all in all it's a mediocre effort. I think that they can think of something better. All songs sound as if cut and paste tool was used alot! I've read good reviews of t

Well, to say that Winter is the best studio work ... It is an good ballad, with a sweet solo by Taylor, but nothing truly special. Sort of If you really want to be my friend type of song. play with fire, she smiled sweetly, no expectations, silver, horses, let it loose and angie are all way more interesting I don't really care if they ever will play it live: I usually use the slo

Come on, it ain't that bad! With the only exception of primitive cool, which is almost impossible to listen to, I like quite all of them, with a slight preference for she's the boss. Spirit is very good, strong songs, Sweet thing is one of my all time absolute favs, but exactly like keith's main offender, it never truly grew on me. Goddess is all in all not as good as Sp

Re: peppers I've seen them a couple of times live and I have some boots. They can be a great band (the second time I saw them they truly blew me away). Unfortunately the singer, not very talented in the first place, often is out of voice. In studio sex magic & californication were truly great great albums. 1 hot minute was also great (I love navarro's guitar work) but AK'

Can he play with a "clic"? I gave a listen to devil in boston: no way! Bored? could be, anyway ... The same with me: I've never been able to play a decent solo with a metronome or a drum machine. C p.s. Still think that the only time devil gave signs of awakening from the deep coma it fell into in 89 was at the cirkus club show last tour when after the clic s

As far as I have heard Boston, opening night - mediocre aud recording. worth having as a souvenir if you were there The others are somehow slighly better. I am deleting the bad ones and keeping the best available. So far Detroit is the best - not too bad audience recording: music is more focused, but no depth. C

I will never understand why Virgin does not release a collection of post 71 singles (including b sides and stuff) as Decca did with the london years. The only brillant idea that came Virgin marketing division was to issue the collectors edition remastered series. The remasters stank (although light years better than the CBS versions), but the fan (me) bought them. A part from that, the

Parade is absolutely amazing! By the way there are some truly great boots of the latest NPG live. Prince is incredible: he was able to record some of the best music of the last 25 years, live he is there with the greatest (I sill consider the sign o times tour the ultimate live experience, stones aside) BUT he is also guilty for releasing some of the worst s... recorded ever!!! As a matter of fact there is loads of distortion on ABB. On some trax it could be natural "volume on 11" distortion, but on others it is clearly a processed sound. Don't know if the "processing" is in between guitar and amp (pedal box), is in the amp (therefore no twin) or rather is post-production. Could be: Jagger states that it is all digital recording. For sure t

The only thing I don't like in YGMR is the intro. I find it weak. I would have rearranged it with a drum intro a la GoGo in still life, to give an idea. But once the D starts kicking, the song rocks! C

It could also be because odd young rockers in the US have thousands of exciting young rock bands to follow. At least here in Italy there is no souch a rock and roll scene. Lenny Kravitz, Green Day, U2 and, occasionaly, the Stones is all that an odd young rocker could get. C
