All of them, except No. 2 (Under the boardwalk) and Voodoo Lounge (sparks, moon, sweethearts, new faces, baby break it down + I, confess, a little fast forwards every now and then on Thru and Thru). C

There was a (German?) newspaper that once claimed that most of the VL tour shows were done in play back. I am not sure how this ended up. Someone told me here that it turned out to be bullshit. As far as I can say from the shows I have seen, no play back is used, except for the sampled percussions on Devil and effects on Shelter (licks) and 2000lightyears (UJ). Not too sure about the cow bel

Re: Lyrics different from the original version Mick ain't no Bob Dylan. No sermons or sacred poetry. His voice in an instrument. What he sings is not important, it's HOW he sings that counts. Imagine saying that Taylor or Keith or Wood should stick EXACTLY to the same licks and riffs that were originally recorded! This leads to the second point Re: How MJ interprets certain s

I don't think that they will ever play Rain or Laugh at a stadium show: they just will not work, like Baby didn't work on the B2B tour. I love them all, but they are too ethereal. Stadium shows need fat grooves. C

Fingering of midnight rambler is quite simple (with or without capo). As pointed out above, it's the groove!!! No tab can illustrate Keith's right hand relaxed yet powerful shuffle. 4 fliks has some great close ups. Priceless! C

To appreciate music you need a good source, a good hardware (player amplifier speakers), AND a good ear. You train a good ears by using good sources and hardware. Ears used to 128 mp3, ipods, crap pc speakers etc. are not able to catch the small details that make listening music a great experience. Usually a boosted bass frequency will make the day of a mp3 ear! Once you have good hardwar

There are some. - in 1990 I drove all the way to london to see them at wembley, but K hurt his finger and the show was cancelled (apparently this was the first time in their whole career) - in 1995 I drove to paris and just missed the first show. the second was a blast under pouring rain though. Bad thing was that I had an entry for the Olympia some days later but had to return to milano

I have not heard it yet, still keeping the line open to help 9 VERY SLOW peers to complete their d/l. I read in the notes it was "mastered/mixed/finalized". What was done exactly? C

True, the fact that (despite the hard work of good ol' OpenG) Taylor is hardly ever aknowledged as one of the great r'n'r guitarists always amazed me. It can't be the fact that he never had a true hit after quitting the stones. Page, Blackmore, Gilmour, even SRV never had a hit as solo artists. It can't even be the fact that we are all blinded by our love for the

I must say I generally hate psychedelia, flower power, trip-music, etc. but I do like Satanic. It is NOT rock and roll, but it still is very very stonesy. Who cares if it is not a masterpiece. At least it is something different. There are thousands of good ideas, maybe still undeveloped, but all the same. All in all I'm happy to have Satanic and not another "back to the roots

This Wyman vs. Jones debate is pointless. Wyman is a great bass player. Unorthodox technique (as all players who have learnt by themselves) but very effective within the scope of the stones music. And it could not be otherwhise: all those great songs where crafted with BW in the band. Jones is another very talented and competent player, technically I would say way more prepared than BW, b

Believe it or not, I've never ever seen a "rolling stones tribute band". I've never heard of one even existing here in Milano. Further: I've hardly ever heard a cover band play a stones song, and if so it is only the odd choice satisfaction. C
