I'm not kidding! Thi Corriere della Sera is one of the most important Italian news papers. I just saw this article. The article is about Virgin not wanting NeoCon on ABB. It says that fans reacted bitterly to the rumour. «Non è una questione di "aria fritta politica" - scrive Gazza - una band così non deve né accettare censure, né autocensurarsi soprattutto su u

Well I guess I will have to wait to see an ABB show to answer this, but as far as what I can hear from boots, Licks and ABB sound very much the same to me. C

As it seems, 15 copies of a limited edition 45 rpm RG & Streets single, pressed on red vynil, will be awarded to the best review (max ten lines) received by Sep. 15 8 pm. I think that you should give them a second chance: you are missing some truly good stuff! This is band a band with balls! I have a couple of boots in mind that, I am 100% sure, will make you change your opinion! If you give me your mail address and I will send them to you C

Gazza: You don't get it! You have every right in the world to dislike the BC's music. Personally I find artists of the calibre of Clapton, Pink Floyd, Macca EXTEREMELY boring and dull. But I wouldn't dare say they were not talented, or that they did not have "classic hist". Fact is that also the BC have very strong numbers in their list (and that you don

You must be all nuts! What does it mean that the BC don't have "classic songs"? They are the ONLY current band to be able to ADD classics to the all time r'n'r big hits list. Remedy alone made me cry for a miracle! Amorica and Snakes are in the list of the best rock and roll albums made in the last 20 years. People complain about the war horses set lists of the

This links to a thread below on the best Stones works. I would truly like your cd/record players answer to this one! I am sure we would have big surprises. My player would say that Undercover, Now, Buttons, and Tattoo have been played thousands times more than the "big 4". It would also say that Still Life overplays YaYas! As much as I consider Bleed a masterpiece, I am

I don't hear a sax on Melody, but I wouldn't bet my balls there are none! BTW, is live with me the first song featuring a sax? I know BJ could play sax, but I can't remember hearing him anywhere. Further: Bobby Keys last take on a stones LP was All About You, almost 25 years ago! C

Article on the Stones (first time ever?) on the popular Italian sports newspaper "gazzetta dello sport" (aka "gazza"). Allegedly the Stones' performance was not "live" because ABC feard possible "anti-Bush" statements during the act. Of course the article is bshit (I can't imagine the stones playing an un-rehearsed Neo-Con!!!), but wa

I haven't heard Keith using so much distortion in studio since 999. It was a surprise! On Licks tour Keith's guitars were absolutely clean, to the point that many here complained that they sounded too thin. As far as I can tell from the Boston opening show, despite what we heard at the PC gig, the sound of the BB tour is very similar to Licks'. What happened in France?

Ok, allegedly he did not take part to the creative process of ABB, and he is MIA on some of the final takes, but the last time I heard him so brilliant was on undercover!!! His guitar on Cat and Driving is absolutely inspired. Great focused solos, fills and chops and chord. Truly great!!! C

Stones might be on the bill of the 2006 Teleconcerto in Rome. Huge venue. 300,000 showed up for Macca and Simon and Garfunkel in the previous editions. Let's see how Cohl workes Rome this time: only a miserable 6,000 tix sold @ the flaminio stadium in 1990!
