"Laugh, I Nearly Died"

This song is rapidly becoming one of my favorites from ABB. Lots of emotion from Mick, without sounding overwrought, which is the bane of much of the so-called soul tunes I hear these days. This is the real deal, and his years of experience pay off here.

Way down in the mix, left channel, only about 7-8 seconds in, their is a slight 'metallic' scrape sound. Anyone else hear it??

Great song

I fell in love with this song, just listening to the live snippets.
CD version is nice and clear, so I can turn up real loud.

After their rehearsal show on 10th August at Torontos Phoenix show , you could download two 30second live snippets, and firstly listen to some new material. glad thats over, 'cause I like to listen to the CD.

Best would be Live of course, but thats months away.

If I am not wrong, AOM is C - Em, then something like G, D, F, C

Laugh is (should be) Bm - G, then E - G.

C

This one blew me away. The emotions in Mick's vocals make me think that he took away something from singing "That's How Strong My Love Is"---I want to hear this track live.

If you´ve got em & C or bm & G it´s the same connection only in another tune / harmonie. I lost the right english word for that... In german "Tonlage"!!

the vocal performance by "The Mick Jagger Quartet" in the chorus is the highlight of the entire album for me
