The USA Collection?

I was just at a local record store yesterday, and saw that every studio album from Sticky Fingers through Tattoo You was repackaged and released on Tuesday as part of what is called "The USA Collection."

Here's a link to what I'm talking about:

Does anyone know if these are at all remastered, or just a ploy to get people to shell out more money for stuff they have already bought?

As far as I know, they are just packaged in a cardboard slipcase to coincide with the tour, the contents are exactly the same!

They did the same thing here and called it the Canada Collection.
Aside from the cardboard cover holding the jewel case,
I think it's just a repackage of the Virgin cd's,
rereleased to coincide with the tour. Here
they are selling quite cheap, so if you
don't have them already might be a
good way to pick them up, otherwise
got them, don't need another copy,
just because it's packaged
differently.......................

Alright, thanks for the help everyone.

I'm missing almost all of those albums, sans Sticky Fingers and Exile.. So I might pick some others up (Some Girls and Tattoo You at least), and just toss the cardboard.

Aren't these the same discs released in card sleeves in 1994?

Flashpoint is involved in this also.

I'd certainly be interested in Sticky Fingers if they've fixed the horrible audio glitches in Wild Horses and You Gotta Move that was on the 94 remaster. Anyone know the answer to this?

I was going to post a question on the same lines as i thought the record company would promote some of the previous albums to coincide with the event of the new one to be released.

Are they a decent price?

Glithes still on the disk. Keep your LPs tight!
