Amy Winehouse Leaves Clinic, Lights Up

After undergoing treatment for the past few days, Amy Winehouse was spotted leaving her exclusive London rehab center on Monday (June 23) - quickly lighting up a cigarette before hitting the shops to pick up a few items.

Suffering from a nasty chest infection, it’s rumored that the 24-year-old “Rehab” singer is leaving to prepare for Nelson Mandela’s birthday celebrations and Glastonbury.

Meanwhile, as previously reported by Gossip Girls, Amy’s dad spoke to press about her medical state, telling: “With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 percent lung capacity.”



“When we got to the hospital a room was ready. Several doctors came in and checked to make sure she didn’t need any emergency treatment. They put her on a drip straight away because she was dehydrated. She said, ‘Don’t worry about me, dad. I know I’ve got to stop taking drugs now.’”

“She’s got emphysema. It’s in its early stages, but had it gone on for another month they painted a very vivid picture of her sitting there like an old person with a mask on her face struggling to breathe.”

anyhow, I'm sure Amy will be fine this weekend at Glastonbury and Nelson Mandela's Hyde Park gig.

She was wonderful, great performance. She worries me though, she has that weird aura, she wont get old. But where was Keith no sighting ?
That blue button thing on BBC is awesome, just watched he Raconteurs, impressive set, and now Buddy Guy, hes rewritten Purple Rain for one of his tunes, but great guitar player

Think your wife is right, she wasn't in a good shape but as a Amy fan I loved to see see here sing........ she did start a bit unsecure but she ended right I think...........great band she though

Ye, saw her at IOW last year. Her set (i.e. not the guest appearance) was one of the highlights of the weekend. She was in great form hen - not too pissed - but you just don't know in advance how she's gonna be. Her band is excellent.

Apparently the guy she whacked had grabbed her tits (which thepress will no doubt gloss over). In which case, good on her.

......once again she was riveting and in good shape considering........Back to Black remains one of the best records in the last decade

Get real her so called performance at Glastonbury was dreadful, and she was no better at the Mandela concert some of the people on stage with her could not beleive their eyes.........or ears. Her husband gets out of prison in two weeks stand by for the headlines......
