They always get close but they’ll never drag it across the finish line again, too many missing pieces.
I listen to bootlegs almost exclusively and from that I can tell that one of the worst hits the Stones took in the 80s was Keith not taking Ronnie with him when he went solo.theres a clear break in the quality of their playing.
From Black and Blue,Ronnie’s solo albums, the tours, the constant hanging out together and jamming for ten years they were tight as a fist,by the time they got back together for steel wheels it was lost.the weave was a shadow of its former self.
You lose the Ronnie/Keith thing and the Mick/Keith thing, game over.stick with the catalogue guys.

I am too ! Clearly the songs are not finished but I like the vibes from these sessions. And there's some really good singing from Mick.

Well well well, my insta karma strikes again.
1.) Thank You for sharing link.
2.) My 1st WeTransfer took 20 minutes, helplessly building my expectations.
After painful starts to listen to songs 1-3
angonizing to try and understand the lyrics only to realize:
They haven’t been written yet.
I remember once again my frustrating dislike of uncompleted RS songs.
So sorry.
I’m a bad pirate :-/
