Perhaps a partnership with Donald Trump to create a series of Rolling Stones branded retirement communities/casinos across the world?

I think that it should come to an end.
Sometime in the 1970s I was reading a 1967 review of Satanic Majesties. The reviewer commented about the song 2000 Man, saying if the Stones were still touring in the year 2000 it would be the first time ever that a bunch of 60-year-olds toured as a rock band. I bet you that the reviewer is dead.
I mean stop everything, no more releases from the archives, no nothing. Life will go on and the legacy is already in fulll bloom. There is more than enough stuff to chew on. There are tons of bootlegs on YouTube.
I really don't want to see Charlie Watts have a heart attack while playing his drums on stage or some other terrible calamity.
Let it end.

Mick Jagger was asked, in an interview from the early 70s, if he could see himself still performing into his sixties. The not yet 30 year old's answer: "Oh, yeah, easily."
Bill Wyman will be taking the stage later this month at Glastonbury as a 76 year old, so why is it difficult to think that Charlie and the rest could not perform well into their seventies?

Better to go out on a reasonably high note - like right now. There is an art and a skill in life with respect to knowing when to stop.

With all due respect--no there isn't. You only get one life, live as much of it as humanly possible. Never mind what other people think or whether it's "age-appropriate" or whatever. Screw all that!

They will never stop touring. But they will take more breaks, lomnger breaks, and less shows between the breaks. Comes with age. Not rocket science really. They used to do 100+ shows per tour. You can't do that with a bunch of grandchildren and lots of family activities. Also they need to do what any other person age 65++ do - some resting.
Expect a break of some time, then more arena shows, probably also Brazil and Argentina. Nothing is confirmed, they just have lots of bids for shows on the table, they will not even look at them until they have had Mick's birthday cake and some more rest.
Then December would be fine with me - I'm in Brazil at that time and ready to party in Buenos AiresQuote

My guess, and it's only a guess, is that they'll hit Europe before coming back to the states. They've already hit all the U.S. cities that count (yes, that's right ) so it's Europe's turn next.
