I also think that being stones fans is above this kind of discussions about soccer.

Can the poor boy still walk? Maybe some pretty nurse can put a plaster and a little kiss on his knee and give him a glass of orange limo with a straw. Come on, what a whining. See this pic of a Dutch player. He was really knock out and his teeth had to be fixed as well as his jaws. But NO ONE of us was whining, he himself also not. We only were glad we won that match. We Dutch butchers can give but we also can take. You won THE cup but you keep on whining and whining and whining instead of feasting and laughing. How many heavy casualties do you have, caused by the Dutch figthing squad? Man, it's ridiculous. You only make me laugh. Well take my advice: just say to your football players never to play against the Dutch team anymore: they would get a scratch or even be killed in battle! Watch out for the Orange Danger!
Here's the action of another karateka during WC 2010 (not needed to mention his name) against a Dutch butcher. The Dutch butcher had to be brought to the hospital for medical examination and to let his jaw and teeth get fixed. He didn't complain, he didn't whine and he didn't cry. Here's the pic, of course not such a melodramatic mega pic as we've already seen too often here.

As for the (neutral) spectators: I can imagine that they didn't like the match. It takes something to understand this game and to see what's really happening. The Spanish pressing, the Dutch flashing attacks, the tension, the equilibration between those top players. It's like boxing: if both boxers are very equal to each other it can be dull to watch for outsiders (like me), whereas it is very exciting for the insiders.

OR, they could have just played a more interesting, faster game. That might have helped and then the (neutral) spectator wouldn't have to get a graduate thesis on the inner machinations of the Spanish/Dutch rivalry, in order to enjoy the world cup final.
Never had that problem in previous finals...

Maybe Susanne deserves her own thread. She's become one of the most named people on this site very quickly. That kind of fame is hard to come by. ><
