Ahmet is a classsy man and I sure hope he is back on his feet soon! Not only has he given sage advice and help to the Stones for over 30 years,he obviously is considered a friend of theirs. THey ceetainly don't need more stress on this tour! Didn't hear about Art Wood, that's really sad, sorry for Ronnie!

Yes Ryan, Foreigner played all their hits, they were actually pretty good, and yes, Mick was very ill with a flu or virus and the Philly papers the next day reported he had a 102 degree fever. The set was about 90 minutes, very short for the Stones. You'd never know that Mick was sick though the way he strutted and moved, the sign of a real champion! I was never a big fan of the '78 tour

I don't recall objects thrown at Foreigner, they played a good set,I was right up front and when they sang " I'll leave you my key", the lead singer tossed hotel keys into the crowd. That was no doubt the WORST CROWD I'd ever been in at a Stones concert! Very, very drunk, very aggitated and the pushing kept up throughout the show, especialy when the Stones came on. When M

I think he should dye his hair but not BLACK like Roy Orbison. If he went to a soft brown it would look great and he'd look 45 again! I like him with a few pounds on his frame...the wasted look is OUT! Mick looks perfect, not sickly, just incredibly fit!

SWEETCHARMEDLIFE, you are very observant! I'm using Debra instead of MICKSCHIX because I signed off by mistake and could only find a slip of paper with the old name and password. How do I get MICKSCHIX back? By signing off again and renaming?

I am not a computer wiz so my question is this; do we all have to do this to get back to the old board? Is BV just experimenting and will he restore the board to the way it was if we say we don't like it this way?

I didn't purposely switch back to using the name DEBRA, and I'm not sure why it happened. MY AOL is freaky! As long as you all know that it's me, both of the names!

In summary, because I do think that the Stones are a band that appeal to more men than women, men expect more technically from the band. They demand that they not screw up chord changes, remember all of the lyrics, they notice what parts Blondie plays, when a string breaks, when Ronnie plays a brilliant steel peddle etc. Women notice the costume changes, what Lisa wears, the props etc. This is not

Great news for all of us in the USA who did not travel to London, thinking it was the LAST TIME! I did not believe that they would not return to the States and now the delay in the release of Shine A Light makes good sense! The band can rest for 5 months or more and go out to promote the movie. Having heard this on ENTERIAINMENT TONIGHT makes me feel really confident that this is true! The previe

I'd love to know the REAL reason it was pushed up to '08! It has got to be about $$$$. From those clips that I saw, it seems to be as ready to go as it could be! Maybe it was conflicting with something else that would detract from the box office numbers!

Yes, I agree about that Radio City show! I have seen 36 Stones shows in all and that was in my top 4, no doubt! There was magic in the air that night!

My only complaint, if you can call it that is including " Let's Work". OH MY GOD, to think that I actually DISLIKE something Mick did, but I do dislike this piece. I also prefer " Hard Woman" to " Don't Call Me Up" but that is a slight complaint. I can't wait to see it because I have all of it SOMEWHERE and this organizes all of those videos and bits o

Yes I know that dream well! I have a thing for Mick( as if most folks here don't already know that!) so my dream centers around watching Mick but of course I see Ronnie, Keith and Charlie too. I am always the only visitor and when I wake up I can still hear the song in my head that they were rehearsing. I sometimes think that I can will that dream to come true....I dream big!

Good point, DGA, I would tend to agree that it was staged somewhat; I think it is a number that Mick happens to like and just practiced a bit on his own. He certainly had played it before and his singing is like the way he sang in days of old! Authentic blues at it's best! YIKES! It was just amazing to see the song take off like that and that lends credence to the fact that it was staged.

P.S. What do you think the odds are that we'll see the Stones perform this song, say on the B-Stage? They used to play " Little Red Rooster" there!!

I know that Mick enjoys Tina Turner, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, and Sade . I'd love to know if there are contemporary artists that his children have turned him on to! He's pretty open-minded and I bet he listens to all kinds of music so he can get ideas for his solo cd and for the Stones. I remember reading long ago that Hendrix really did knock his socks off, yes, during the Cafe Wha day

No Adrian, as a matter of fact I hated the Black Eyed Peas and Kayne West was THE MOST disgusting of them all! However, that has not always been the case; I loved the Corrs, and really loved John Mayer, alot! Going way back, I enjoyed Foreigner,& Stevie Wonder and The Pretenders were ok. I surely don't select Stones venues based on the opening act though!

I think Chelsea is correct but I can't see why there's a fuss here and why it can't be accepted that Mick will do solo cds AND Stones cds. It doesn't have to be either/or! Of course, as we can see, Mick doesn't wait around for fans to voice approval over whether or not he SHOULD record his own cd, nor should he! Buy it or don't buy it! I choose to buy it, I happen to

I'm sick to death of people who slam Mick for doing his thing and dissing the work that he's done on these cds! Just because Keith chooses not to do a solo cd, they have to disparage Mick's efforts which truly shows their jealousy! Wandering Spirit, Goddess and even SOME of Primitive Cool are excellent, although I do admit all of the songs are not A+. It's a boring topic becau

I can't believe the fuss over a cute little mouse! I have 3 cats and twice over the weekend our cats caught a tiny field mouse and dropped it at my feet! I caught him, put him into a shoebox and let him go under our pine trees! I KNOW the mice find their way back in but I just can't trap them or kill them. It's a seasonal thing, they stay out in the summer it seems!

I loved watching Moon, saw him 4 times with the WHO and even caught his drumstick that he tossed to me at Saratoga Performing Arts Center in 1971. The sheer power of his drumming made you FEEL the music and as someone said, listen to WHO'S NEXT if you doubt for a moment what he could do. Three of the 4 times that I saw Moon with the WHO I was very close and his drumming actually pounded my

P.S. ok take out Coltrane, Billy Joel, Allman Bros, Capt Beefheart, and Sinatra and ADD Cream, maybe Disraeli Gears, Layla, Aerosmith's first lp and maybe even Toys IN THe Attic or Pump, also add the Kinks( pick 2) and move Tommy up from 96 to 10. Add Aftermath to the top 25 and Goat's Head Soup, and Steel Wheels or Green Grass and High Tide.
