-The mumbo jumbo that Jagger says off mike during Live Midnight Rambler on Yaya's
-The two guitars on Stray Cat on YaYa's; Keith's guitar beind the solo
-Jagger in Moonlight Mile
-The piano break towards the end of "Soul Survivor"
-Keith on BU vocals during "Left shoe shuffle right shoe muffle.."
-At the very end of YCAGWYW when the drums start bashing the crash cymbal right as the choir has gotten as high as they can go
-Similar end of "Salt of the Earth"
-Beginning of "Talkin bout You"
-The activities of the Bee in "King Bee" when it buzzes a while and then stings

Goose bumps? Not even close. We're talking ostrich bumps. HUGE. All the time. Especially during a fantastic version of Wild Horses og Gimme Shelter. And would I love to hear those two this entire summer at every damn** show? I confess. Warhorses or not. Those two will always have a special place in my heart. And first priority in my ears.

Who the f*ck is Mick Jagger?

I always get goosebumps when Jagger starts to really let loose during " Let It Loose" ... " I ain't in love, I ain't in luck.." Wild Horses, LIVE! Watching MT play " Love In Vain " frm Ladies and Gentlmen, The Rolling Stones". The piano intro to " She's A Rainbow", and EVERY TIME it's second away from SHOWTIME! The lights are all off in the arena, the only lights are from the amps, the stage door opens and you can make out the silhouette of....is it KEITH??? You hear him diddling, tuning, and then ....THE LIGHTS GO ON and the ride begins! Oh, I almost forgot, seeing Mick and Keith sing together so close on that small stage at Radio City, " Worried About You" and " As Tears GO BY"!! Goosebumps all over!!!

well they're an exciting outfit with many a toe tapper, haawww...
but 'no expectations' come to mind for me personally, as it's delicate, fragile, melodic and deeply blues rooted...
and wonderful lyrics...moves meh...
that end crescendo in 'i got the blues'...will pretty much get to my nervous system in a hurry also.

As Tears Go By on the last tour. What a treat to get that one.

The way Keith sings "we're oooooowwwwww-pen 24 hours baby" on the studio version of of 'Thru and Thru'

The way he sings the word 'soon' in the final chorus of 'Slipping Away' (I kid you not. Its perfection)

Mick's entire vocal on Let It Loose.The finest performamce of his career.

Midnight Rambler from Brussels '73. Especially that middle section where Mick is working the crowd into a frenzy and the guitars during the slow part of the song, where they sound like theyre going to decapitate the listener with a buzz-saw any second. Best live performance of any song by any band ever.

Taylor's soloing and those strings on "Winter"

The bridge on the studio version of "Miss You", with that 'walking central park' piece and Wyman's basslines. Bill's finest moment as a Stone.

Charlie's drumming on 'Slave', 'Get off of My Cloud' and 'Paint it Black'. The whip-crack of that snare during the solo on '"Where the Boys Go".

Yes..I was surprised at its omission at the Twickenham shows. Felt sure we'd hear it on one of them. I think the setlist choice for the 2nd night had a lot to do with Mick's throat problems, so maybe certain songs were left out.

I got it at MSG and, I think, Nice.

I can't believe no one mentioned the Tumbling Dice coda - arguably the finest moment of their official catalogue and the ultimate goose bump moment for me.

and:
- almost the whole of Ya-Ya's, every other vocal turn or guitar line. The album where their musicaianship is the most engaging, almost intimate. Innumerable great moments there.
- Keiths '81 UMT solo, even if it was the same solo 100 times it always gets me
- The Imagination jam, Hampton '81
- That long meandering solo by Mick Taylor on I'm Free, live '69 (the slower west coast versions)
- SFM and JJF (studio versions) per se. Esp. the way the songs are brought to a climax. "Get down", already mentioned, always does it to me.
- Keith back up vox in the '70's, Casino Boogie, almost the whole SG album.

Brown Sugar gives me goosebumps every single time. The ultimate Stones tune.

This has turned into a good thread. There have been so many mentioned like the "get Down" in SFM, all of "Let it Loose"; surely one of his best ever. The begginning of each live show.

I thought of others: the harmonies of Keith and Mick in "Memory Motel" in
"..and she began to play she sang a song to me". This is such a great example of Keith picking his lines when they fell right. Not going by count. The drumming in those verses is similar, sporadic.

The bridge in "Till the enxt goodbye" when Jagger goes "I can't go on like this can ya, can ya?"

The outro of "Torn and Frayed" "just as long as the guitar plays"

The last time that the break comes around in "All about you" when it breaks down all the way to just saxophones and a guitar and Keith gets up close and groans "they weren't about her".

When the harmonica just busts into the guitar solo during "Mannish Boy" on LYL
