I like that Midnight Rambler joint. Great pic. Anyway, my bowling league team name was The Bowling Stones way back when. We had the shirts with the logo and everything. Pretty corny and lame, I know, but we had fun. And no, I didn't pay any licensing fees for the use of the tongue logo.

"I've never seen a six year old with braces..." I haven't either. Mackenzie's not wearing braces.

"Yeah, the story is good but no way it's Mackenzie" Nope, I have to respectfully disagree. Pretty sure it's Mackenzie. Looks just like her, she looks 6 years old to me, and I remember reading about her being on that Sullivan camera shot more then once over the years.

Don't think so. But that's Mackenzie Phillips at 1:06. And not that many years later, while Jagger was hanging around her father.....well, you know the story.

As a long time Jimi and Stones fan, I've always been intrigued by Linda Keith. To report more about what Keith Richards has to say in his new book about Linda breaking his heart after ending it with him in the summer of '66 (via Jimi and another fellow): "That's the first time I ever felt the deep cut. The thing about being a songwriter is, even if you've been @#$%& o

Jim Callahan had his work cut out for him that night, didn't he? Fun for me to see ol' JC in action muscling his way through the crowd, thanks for posting.

The second large public gig on the Rolling Stones 1978 US tour was the 7-1-78 Municipal Stadium, Cleveland, Ohio, concert. It was another huge football stadium with several top groups billed as “The World Series of Rock.” It rained heavily throughout the Rolling Stones performance. They did not play well. They completely flubbed the opening of the show on Chuck Berry’s 1950's classic “Let it

Say what you will about Klein, he had foresight. I'll give him that. While all others back in the day (Jagger, Richard, Oldham, Lennon, and most of the music industry) thought that the hit records of the day had expiration dates on them, Klein bet that they didn't. And he won big. You have to know, back in '65 nobody thought that those hit records would ever be played again in

George Harrison once admited that the "Day Tripper" riff was the Beatles' attempt to come up with a riff that was similar to "The Last Time Daytripper was Lennon's riff. He was playing around with Albert King's "Born Under A Bad Sign" and he wrote the riff. It isn't just me or everyone else who hears the similarities, Lennon said so himself.

The cat in the hat plays with the strings reversed, or upside down, like Albert King and Otis Rush. Love the tone that gets.

Mick sounds fantastic. Great vocal performance, one of his best. Too bad the song doesn't have a bridge. Love the song anyway.

Where's the surprise here? They've listed the official members of the Rolling Stones. Chuck has never been a Stone. Stu was. Chuck's a hired hand. Just like Nicky and Darrel and Keys and Andrew and Jimmy Miller and McLagen and Lisa and Nitzsche and everyone else who has contributed and made the Stones sound so rich and enjoyabe throughout the years. The Stones are lucky they foun

Nothings changed for 5,000 years and nothing ever will. You can hold your breath and stomp on the ground all you want, it will never change. Tiger is the best golfer the world has e

With all due respect, that proclamation, and I quote "as reader I can picture people's reactions to him, in ways he clearly doesn't get. Like calling Keith several times a day for months at the Plaza. And not getting the fact that--altho he was successful in getting through--he was also a pain in the ass" unquote, is a remarkable statement and that's being kind. Somebody

"I have to say that I am completely turned off by the latest development in the Stones' career, where they have morphed from musicians to tabloid fodder. I am fed up with these never-ending tales of alcoholism, domestic disputes and wildly inappropriate romantic liaisons." That's it, I cant' take it anymore. Substance abuse? Inappropiate romantic liasons? Are you k

Mick smoking what smelled like hash and Keith putting on an Electric Ladyland CD and playing Voodoo Chile (the long one) real loud. Those special moments that I witnessed happened on different days.

I couldn't possibly know what happened between these two since I live about a million miles away. For some reason I couldn't care less, either. Shit happens. But there's just something about a "Rolling Stone Arrested" headline that makes me smile and think to myself, all's still right with the world after all.

Cleveland, June 1975. When the Stones walked out on stage and Honky Tonk Women was blaring that was it for me. I've seen them 75+ times since and I'm still searching for that feeling I got from the first 30 seconds of Cleveland 1975.

I have to go with Black and Blue because when the local record store opened the box on the day of it's release I freaked out it was so cool. Forget that, on second thought, Through The Past, Darkly. Best album cover ever, inside and out. Period.

Anybody know of any more? The Sticky Fingers 8-track has an outtake of Sister Morphine. Not a different mix, a different take.
