Listened to the album last night. First impression is it's typical AC/DC sound, which is good. Anything Goes really surprised me. I think it's an awesome song, as mentioned earlier similar beat, groove to Money Talks as well as Put The Finger on You. Should get alot of radio airplay.

Just started watching this series a couple weeks ago. Saw the episode you are talking about. Great series. I saw Duchovny at the Stones concert in Vancouver, just as the XFiles was starting up in town. Can't believe the show eventually moved down to LA because he didn't like the rainy winters here.

I doubt there would be a huge demand to see the Stones next year since they've toured so much this decade. I'm sure AC/DC will be doing a stadium tour in Europe next Summer so that will be one of the biggest tours of 09.

Did AC/DC open for the Stones at "Twicks"? I thought it was a couple outdoor shows in Germany as well as the SARS show in Toronto.

Another Toronto show at Rogers Center (Skydome). I'm sure this one will sell out fast, too. I'm hoping another Vancouver show gets announced eventually. I personally have no problems with people on this thread that aren't AC/DC fans. We're all entitled to our own opinions! We can pretty much talk about any band and we'll have people disliking them.

Sorry, I meant broadcasted. I know the one where Keith and MT are sitting side by side with roses in their guitars and there's the other where MT is playing piano. I thought there was a third one, too.

Hi FrankM. I hear Start Me Up on occasions but Queen? The only time you'll hear We Are The Champions is at the end of the playoffs. As far as "pop culture", I didn't mention anything about that. I just said that when you tune into any NFL, NHL, etc. game, chances are you'll always hear an AC/DC song. Sometimes you'll hear Stones, like Satisfaction in the Cowboys g

Just announced December 21 Tampa and Jan 5 Cleveland. I'm sure plenty more to follow. Also, I see in the new Future Shop flyer in Canada they're advertising the upcoming album, which is surprising since it's supposed to be a Walmart exclusive. The last Eagles album was a Walmart exclusive in the States as well as Canada.

While watching football all day, I heard Rock'n'Roll Train being played in Montreal during the CFL game! First time I've heard it played at a sporting event. Heard Back In Black, Hells Bells, You Shook Me and Those About To Rock being played at a few different games as I channel surfed amongst the NFL games today. I don't think there's any other band that gets played m

Kinda similar situation for Vancouver. It was Brian's last Canadian show, shortly before Hawaii 66. Opening show of the 72 tour was Vancouver but they played Toronto towards the end of the tour and as of right now, Vancouver was the last North American show in 06.

I see now on Ticketmaster as well as Pollstar that there is no concert scheduled for Seattle the day after Vancouver. Not sure why it's been deleted. I was wondering originally why they would play three shows in three nights, Vancouver, Seattle then Tacoma. Looking at the updated concert schedule, it looks like they're doing shows pretty much every other night. I'm thinking n

Vancouver sold out quickly this morning. I'm hoping they swing through this way again later on since I wasn't able to get tickets. Chances are they will come this way since they'll probably swing through Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg next year.

Vancouver show sold out quickly this morning. Georgelicks: Back In Black was #1 on the pop catalog charts. How many units did it sell?

They'll play a couple new songs and then a greatest hits setlist with perhaps one or two rarities. We'll probably see the Hells Bell, blow up Rosie doll and the cannons during the finale. Predictable but never boring!! Would be nice to hear Live Wire, Can I Sit Next To You Girl, Riff Raff and Go Down.

keefriff makes a good point about the Eagles. However, I went to the RIAA website and I see that their last album was certified triple platinum (3 million) in November 2007. If that's the case, then I can see their back catalog selling an additional 2.1 million in the 04-07 period. I'm sure that if the period was 04 to right now, then the Eagles would have a much higher number sold

I remember AC/DC played the Tacomadome back in 83, when the Flick of the Switch tour started up in Vancouver. I'm wondering if the Rose Garden is booked so there was no available date? I'm sure they could easily sell out two shows in Vancouver. I'm a bit surprised to see them doing three nights in a row from Vancouver, Seattle then Tacoma. Not much time for Brian to rest his vo

Go to any pro football, hockey, baseball game in North America and chances are you'll hear AC/DC songs played. AC/DC fanbase runs from teenagers to seniors. I would think that a high percentage of the 7 million album sales was strictly Back In Black, which seems to sell a million copies every year or two, based upon the RIAA certifications.

Alice Cooper Be My Lover. At the end, there's the little clicking drum sound and I always thought it was a unique sound. Drummer Neal Smith said many people asked him over the years what he did there. Turns out he accidentally dropped one of his drum sticks!

Who's Damon Albarn? Saw Oasis a couple weeks ago in Vancouver, their second show of this tour (first being down in Seattle). A very good concert, actually better than I thought. Seen them once before in Vancouver in 98. Liam's voice is sounding good and their new drummer is pretty good, too. Bit surprised they're touring so early since their album isn't going to be out

I bought my copy at Walmart in Canada. There is also a 67-70 (not sure if the years are correct) that I also bought at Walmart. Can't remember what I paid for either but they weren't that expensive.

Ryan played for about an hour last night opening for Oasis. Unfortunately I don't know any of his songs so I don't know what the playlist was. Looking around me, it appeared most of the people didn't know any of his songs. He received luke warm applause from the crowd. He did speak a bit between songs but it was difficult to understand what he was saying since he talked with a

Hey georgeV. Alice fell off the stage in 75 on his Welcome To My Nightmare tour. I believe he was taken to Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster to get fixed up. I think Suzi Quatro was opening for him that night. I was fairly young at the time but was a huge Cooper fan.
