Live Licks was awful, but CYHMK was fantastic, and IMO a reason alone to buy it. As long as we get such gems on live releases, they should keep putting the albums out.

<Granted there are other 80's I like more - Cinderella and the Cult to name a few> There are huge musical differences between The Cult and the hair metal bands. The Cult has a gothic fundament and their own distinctive style. Maybe some of the ribbing stems from The Stones themselves, dissing the hair metal bands in various interviews?

The Cult is a fantastic band, Astbury is one of the best singers in the world and Billy Duffy is a great, great guitar player. Enjoy the show!

I recommend getting a HI-WATT Custom 50W (also known as "Bulldog"). Not too expensive if you're lucky.

Ronnie is dead drunk, but the title track is really great. Not solely because of Ronnie though (sorry, but it's a fact...).

No reason to analyze this to death. He just love the roots of hip hop music more than the garbage he's being served today. Can't blame him...

I haven't seen this statement from Keith posted here, so anyway here it is (from rs.com): The story currently circulating around the net that Keith snorted his Dad's ashes with some cocaine is totally untrue. To set the record straight, Keith has sent us the following statement: "The complete story is lost in the usual slanting! The truth of the matter is that I planted a st

<Did Keith play on it?> You haven't seen the video?? Keith and Ronnie (and Steve Jordan) played on it. Keith produced it as well. Great twangy version.

I've seen Chris Jagger twice. The first concert was really good. In Bergen last years it was horrible. The backing band was a bummer (Dirty Dogs, some norwegian kids).

Just play a lot of acoustic guitar before you switch - it will be OK. Just did it myself. 0.09 is comfortable, but I'm sick and tired of tuning up all the time

Seems to me that people here has totally different expectations to what The Stones should be these days. IMO, facts are: - Keith and Woody are not as good as they were 30 years ago. - Darryl Jones is technically brilliant, but no Wyman (and no rocker). - Jagger is not as good as he was before, but still keep up. - Charlie lays down the beat, but not much more. Still, IMO a Stones show

<'89: the first professional Stones tour> I think we need to define the word "professional". By the way, it IS professional to deliver a flawless show in front of 70.000 people like the stones did in 1978, even though there are no horns and BU-singers.

1. Aftermath (UK) IS a masterpiece 2. December´s Children IS a good compilation (?) 3. Between The Buttons has it´s moments, but I never fell for this album (Backstreet Girl, All Sold Out and Connection are good though. Miss Amanda Jones too, if they´d bothered to tune up the guitars )
