Yea, I know. but here you can quickly listen to one (or all) of the songs simply by left clicking that song link. You can also immediately download one particular song by right-clicking it and saving. With the other sites you really don't know what you've got until you sign in with your pass-word, log on and download the entire collection and then you can finally listen to something. Th

Find below a link to a cool website for downloadable boots. All MP3. I've never seen this one before. It looks pretty interesting. Enjoy. "Unreleased Emotional Rescue, Undercover and Keith Richards Solo Sessions. Very good to excellent soundboard"

Provenance is a funny thing. It can be a lot of individual things or a combination of things, sort of like a "circumstantial prosecution case" in a court of law. I think you already have a solid provenance for the shirt. It starts with connecting your father's work done to the address of a certain house owned by Mick Jagger at the correct time in history. This may include invoices,

Joan Jett is a national treasure. She's the hardest rocking woman in the business and a Killer song-writer as well. Like Reg said, I can't wait to see her open for the Who.

They're still waiting for their popularity to peak. Then they'll do a massive world tour and then go back in the studio to cut their next album in about 5 years. it's gonna be awesome.

That makes me feel a little better. I was pissed that I'm having to buy Austin tickets 6 months in advance. Hell, I could be dead in 6 months! Then what!?!

Shine On You Crazy Diamond has words. I'll grant you, a few of Pink Floyd's instrumentals are excellent....But 2 CD's worth? zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I personally LOVE Benefit. It is one of my 10 desert island discs. Quintessential psychedelia with amazing songs and riffs. Up there with A Space in Time and Blind Faith. They don't make 'em like that anymore.

"He was one of a kind. He is irreplaceable. His brand of playing and writing is not seen anymore" Truer words were never spoken. He was one of my faves. Go easy bro.

The obvious choices: Dylan, Keith, Elton, Bruce... Have to disagree on Ian Anderson and Joe Elliott tho Plant and Daltry and even McCartney simply take things down a key when necessary. As far as Mick I think his voice has held up but his phrasing and style these days is not as good as it used to be, methinks his hearing is damaged.

Yes! Best show on television right now in my opinion. The best in a long time actually. The HBO format is the future of film. You can do all the violence, sex, nudity and foul language you want AND take time to properly tell a story unlike films which rarely go beyond 120 minutes AND get great actors involved. I have no idea how it's going to end but if I had to guess I'd say Rust figur

I'm just saying. The rehearsals are really the dream show to witness. How much do you think they could get per person, per day? How much would you pay? I'm sure there are quite a few folks who would fly to Paris and pay thousands of dollars to sit and watch the rehearsals. I mean, really, why not? What would they care, really?

A few posts back someone said that "technically Lou Reed was a one hit wonder". I'm not completely sold on that however as I think Rock-n-Roll Animal, though not a single, did sell quite a few copies as well as the Transformer album itself. BUT I've always liked to consider what might have happened if David Bowie had never produced Transformer and it came out sounding much les

Here's my 2 cents. College. Around 1972. I became a huge Bowie fan and shortly thereafter a big Lou Reed fan via Transformer. When Rock-n-Roll Animal came out the decision was made to see him "live" as soon as possible. Three of us drove to Philadelphia to see him at the Tower Theatre where he would perform his Sally Can't Dance show. It was very good. He had blond hair, fa

Reasons why I hate Bigger Bang : 1.) Terrible sound, production and recording engineering 2.) Poor, lazy, sophomoric song-writing 3.) Lousy guitar work, bad arrangements 4.) It sounds like a re-hash of all of their worst songs and song ideas from past records. It all sounds badly familiar. 5.) It hurts my ears

I agree with you 100% BUT I'd like to add, What ended it for me was the dreadful jazz-rock elevator music CD that was "Long Road Out Of Eden". Was a piece of cow-flop! That one should have been called .... (insert your title idea here)
