As far as FREE versions, Pandora is much better than Spotify. As far as PAY versions. I wouldn't know. Which begs the questions : How many Pay Levels do each have and how much money for each?

Sooooooo. I took the empty sleeve case and receipt back to the store and they gave me no problem. In fact the woman said she'd seen this sort of problem before so I wasn't the first person who bought an empty CD case. I could get another Sgt. Pepper (or whatever) or a cash refund or re-credit my bank card. Since they had no more Sgt. Peppers (or Let It Be) I took the cash refund......B

This weekend I bought a Sgt. Peppers CD at WalMart. When I opened it up today to play it on my PC while I worked I was flabbergasted to find that there was NO CD IN THE SLEEVE! (and, yes, I inspected every crack and crevice of the sleeve) WTF! I've never had this happen to me before and I've never heard of it happening to anyone else. Have you ever heard of this? And, by the way, why a

I think it's his appearance. especially his hair ..... or more specifically his lack of hair...as well as his FM/AOR friendly pop music. People like some sort of "edge" to their Rock/Pop musicians and he just seemed to lack any of that...in spades. He looked too much like the friend your mother liked best. too clean, too polite, too successful....you name it. He was a fine singer/s

Killer record. I actually like it more and more as the years roll by because nobody makes this kind of music anymore. I actually just bought a new CD of this about 6 months ago. It's a real "desert island" disc for me. For me it's also a great piece of psychedelia to my ears, up there with A Space In Time, Benefit and Sgt. Pepper. The song writing, performance and production a

I see where Yes is launching a rather big tour here in the States any day now but I haven't seen a word about who will be playing bass since the recent passing of Chris Squire. Their own website doesn't mention it. Anyway, just wanted to know if anyone heard anything. just curious. it looks like this will be a strange lineup with only 1 or 2 semi-original band members in the band. Peace

Wow. Though I guess it's not too surprising as all of our Rock heroes and icons are in their seventies now. Chris was definitely in the top 5 rock bassists of all time and was instrumental in creating a whole new genre of rock music. I saw them in their heyday on the Fragile and Close To The Edge tours. He and the whole band at that time were incredible.......Go easy bro...

Just Boo them off the stage like we did to Babe Ruth when they opened for Roxy Music at the Academy Of Music in New York back in '75. (That reminds me. I need to start a new thread asking if anyone remembers seeing an act booed off the stage at a concert.)

This does NOT sound good for The Who OR their fans. I'd bet there is very little information coming out of The Who camp and the Website because Pete and the rest are absolutely floored by Roger's physical and vocal problems. I could sense something was not 100% with Roger at the Austin show. He moved slowly and seemed "stiff". He's obviously feeling discomfort AND his voc

Just saw The Who last night in Austin. My valuable insights follow : Background : I am a Huge Who fan (since Live At Leeds) but have never seen them before. I was very excited. Joan Jett : Another one of my Bucket-List artists. This was my first time to see Joan. She started playing about 15-20 minutes after the advertised show time and played for a little over 30 minutes covering all of h

My first Stones show. Philadelphia (The Spectrum) On the floor, about 5 people away from the stage. Incredible set, incredible show. It was the biggest party I've ever been to.

Saw my first show in '75 and all subsequent tours up to and including Bridges To Babylon. What stands out to me was "festival seating" on the floor, meaning there were no seats or chairs on the floor and all other seating was first come/first served. If you had the wherewithal you could make your way to the front of the stage and smell the sweat. It was incredible. Thanks to the tr

I suggest standing out on the busiest corner of your town or city and wave it around while yelling "Get your red hot Exile book right here! Get 'em while they're hot! Red hot Exile book! Right here! Get 'em while they're hot! Right here!" Works every time.

The distillation of his original post is simply how ludicrous Keith's statements are. He has always lived in his own illusion of greatness and relevance. That train left the station many years ago...and yes, it is laughable and a little bit embarrassing to read his silly comments. Everything else The Stones do, however, is completely understandable. the music industry now is very differen

Yeah. There's some great stuff on Sugarmegs. But as I recall if you want to download and save a show it's all gonna be 1 big file. The songs aren't split apart. It's all or nothing. Somewhat useless because of that. But don't get me wrong, Sugermegs has a ShitLoad of great music on there.
