Mellencamp will be on TV constantly from now on. Chevrolet in running new Truck advertisements with him in place of the old Bob Seger "Like a Rock" campaign. Cougar, coming soon to a TV near you!

This post inspired me last night to watch the 1986 Halloween DVD from Detroit. "The Nightmare Returns" Remember, with Kip Winger on bass! Alice will absolutely be a great opener. I've seen him live before, and I'll tell you whatever he does artistically and theatrically during the show, the bottom line is that his songs are AWESOME. The guy has a full blown, serious rock

Go dunhill! Alice is a true rock and roll survivor. He is a guy that just "gets it". I am stoked to see him in Louisville.

YES. Old topic, new post. I saw them live last night in the POURING RAIN in Detroit. Whoa, they put on one hell of a show. Extremely entertaining, full blown rock and roll. Dee is one cool front man. They seemed genuinely grateful for the couple thousand diehards that braved the weather at the Michigan State Fairgrounds and played like they were in front of 20,000. If anyone is in Vega

Drake, You should be the official Churchill Downs' Master of Ceremonies! My brother and I will be in T9, row E. See you there, my friend. P.S. I have 2 extras in D4, row B that I'll probably post up for sale when I get back from vacation next week. Just a heads up in case any of your buds need some. Face. Late.

This will be great. The Stones at another unique venue = an event, a happening. Kick ass rock and roll. What more can you want? It's up to you... My brother and I are driving down from Detroit.

In my humble opinion... Don't do it. I have three kids and have never taken them. I still can picture the 3 or 4 year old I saw crying and screaming holding her ears. Take her in another 10 years. The Stones will be back.

RS.COM They probably even get a 5% discount. Ronnie's CBGB shirt is pretty cool. Sometimes he wears it inside out. Maybe when it's not clean.

I paid $250 for a lower level box last summer in Detroit. It was awesome! $500 this time...I'd have a hard time spending that much $$$$ for the experience. To each his own...

I was at the first Silverdome show. The gates for General Admission opened at 2:00 PM. Iggy came on around 6:00 PM and the crowd was either wasted/spent/asleep/ or wasted by then. He humped the pink stage and dodged flying missiles for about 17 minutes. Yes, his "home" crowd, but he just couldn't win anyone over. "Thank you VERY much" and he walked off. The backing

"Buckethead makes me think of Slipknot" Please don't insult Slipknot. Honestly, if Mick Jagger fired/abandoned/sued/insulted/alienated the entire Rolling Stones' family and hired an "all new and improved" band to back him and took the show on the road as "The Rolling Stones", I would not go. Would you? I don't care how much they would sound
