I think Leonard Cohen once rode in the same elevator as Mick and Marianne. I have been left sitting on 1 very good ticket for the Leonard Cohen concert on Wednesday in Berlin. Practically FOS, the seat is in row 10 in Innenraum A3. If interested please email me on johanna@storminateacu

Hm.....interesting to see I'm not alone.... I wasn't at the Arena, but I went to Berlin, and although the acoustic was probably much better than at the Arena, I felt bored, too. Berlin was my last ever show, simply because I felt that the Dutch coverband Flip The Switch was ten times better when I saw them perform at their farewell concert than the "real" Rolling Stones we

Translation: Into English: It costs the BEEB nothing ! Into Cohlish: The Stones won't get a penny (thank you, Lord!!!!!) ! I'm really looking forward to "Wham!", what a treat........

You're perfectly right and you are not alone in thinking this! The important second step after this realisation is : stay away from any other shows. I'm doing it and surprisingly after over 20 years of unconditionally loving them, it ain't even difficult. I saw them only in Berlin and that's it for me.....(and personally I found the show very mediocre...) At the last tour I

I think you'll be ok, just try and be patient for a little while longer, mine got refunded one week ago (I'm in England), the Spaniards got theirs refunded straight away, other European countries two to four weeks later, I assume yours will take a little while longer as the poor Caixa employees have to swim across the Atlantic with each individual Dollar note.....

I was wondering if anyone on this board has already received a refund from Servicaixa for the cancelled shows in Madrid/Barcelona??? If yes: did you request this by email??? Or was it refunded to your credit card automatically??? Also: Has anyone who used RS.Com codes to buy tickets for cancelled shows requested a refund for the Platinum Membership from RS.com, and if yes, have you been refun

Yes, Gazza Sweetie, I know.... Anyway, at least the Berlin show is still going ahead! I shall prepare myself to have the party of my life, as it may be my very last Stones show ever. After that I shall find myself some new little band of 20yearolds and shall become their Nr 1 Cradlesnatcherfanette, or should that be Nr 1 Cradlesnatcherfanny???....

I do agree with "accidents do happen"..., Gazza, BUT : Unless next year REALLY happens, they add theatre shows like they promised at the press conference they would, and I get some sort of formal apology in form of a personalized theatre show ticket and civilised dinner with Charlie Watts, they can just stick their 2007 tour where the sun don't shine. Yes, the USA fall dates wer

Does anyone have the faintest idea when we can expect an official announcement for the new dates for Barcelona and Madrid??? Bjornulf, do you happen to know anything?? In principle I was waiting for those to be announced before the original first concert date of May 27TH. Am I being naive/impatient?? I would like to at least try and reschedule my flights, don't want to have to pay a reschedu

I just looked on www.opodo.co.uk, the cheapest flight at the moment for June is with Air Berlin, with one stop-over on each leg Vienna-Copenhagen, for 141£ Sterling total. Needless to mention: the nearer to the flight dates that you book it, the dearer it gets... Have a look on the net, you may find a cheaper option, specially Danish offers of "city-packs" to Vienna, which may even off

TOTALLY unlimited freedom of speech exists only if you go out and find yourself a psychiatrist, then you can lay on his couch and say whatever comes to mind. He is very unlikely to take any offence whatsoever at anything you may say,no matter how crude, rude or insulting, but he is also very likely to charge you several hundred pounds per hour for the immense privilege..... hoodoyouvoodoo: that's a funny story,I hope you kept some of their really crap English essays to sell on ebay in 20 years time to nerds similar to us .... I am actually trying to catch them live, but so far no success in buying tickets ,I read in the paper that when they returned to their native Sheffield for a gig recently, the £7 tickets were changing hands for £400 at the door, which is

Elmo: thanks, now I understand....but I can't say I ever experienced the vibes you refer to, the only danger I've ever experienced is that of hitting someone for transporting 8 beers on a tray past me and spilling the lot into the small of my back... But this argument that cutting the average age of the concert goers would in fact better the concert experience is total and utter bo

Sorry, Elmo, but what exactly are you saying??? "The danger has really not seemed like it was there since at 1989 tour" isn't English in my book, and if it is, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever!

Which reminds me that at the White Stripes there was an inordinate amount of people in the FOS

What a fantastic thread! OK, I've come out of my hole... The point is that there are very few things that aren't marketed as an "event" nowadays.I saw the White Stripes with my nephew and his girlfriend in Blackpool, and to my surprise there were all these kiddies there. And I mean "kiddies", a few were perhaps 8 years old. And we're standing there, my nephe
