I always thought the cover shot used on VGP's "Seid Ihr Wach?" boot of the 76 tour was particularly menacing... Sorry - don't have a scanner or I would've plugged it in

It's true - they did bring that sound byte over to Flashpoint from GYYYO as a joke / throwback...I think it's right before You Can't Always Get What You Want.

ya know, I think through the 80's, and even into the Vodoo Lounge Tour, Keith's playing wasn't compromised by his posturing on-stage. One of the things I notice after that period is that his hands are less and less on the guitar when he's doing this stuff, which is a bummer because I think the playing suffers. In that footage from '89, he's still playing killer ryhth

I'd agree that the No Security shows had a really good edge to them - saw them at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, and it was great...I mean, they opened with JJF...way to kick it off.

This entire album (with the exception of a few throw-away tracks) is quite good. Bobbie Gillespie - and really the band in-general - are Stones fans, and their music typically shows that.

Hi All - trying to thin out my collection a bit & will decent accept offers on these (or make me an offer for the whole batch). Just to clarify - all of the discs are original silver CDs except for the last set on the list (the 4-CD set).

Hi Gang- 2 quick questions re: '73 recordings 1. Is there an album of the Newcastle '73 soundboard recording available? I've got bits and pieces on various boots. 2. How good is the quality from the Manchester '73 recording (specifically the VGP release). Anyone have it and care to comment? Thanks!

Hi Gang- A little something to discuss. Apologies if this has been pondered before. Never been a huge fan of Got Live If You Want It until recently when I tried to really give it a good listen. I know there was a lot of studio enhancement done to this, but regardless of all that, one thing that really strikes me is how aggressive the "performances" really are. The versions of a

Hi All- Sorry if this question was already addressed, but I'm confused on the source of the much circulated LA Forum '75 shows.... There's a zillion titles (LA Friday, Who went to Chruch This Sunday, I never talked to Chuck Berry, etc.) that are all of the same show (I think). Is this recording Millard's work, or not? Like I said - if this has been covered a billio

Only a quick trip in and out to catch up with some paper dealers at the Beatlefest (boo hiss). I have been to the fest every year for 10 years purely as an observer and handbill / poster hunter! HTW is probably my least favorite opener. I don't know if it's just too slow, or what. I think a really aggressive version of Rip This Joint would be a cool opening song.

Toronto, 2002 (I think) at the Skydome. Can't for the life of me remember which song it was, but it was towards the end of the show (maybe BS or IORR). Anyway, Mick flubbed the timing on his lyrics and it kind of sent the song sideways. Keith got MAD - right in Jagger's face, gave him a bit of a talking to. Once they finished that song, Keith basically ripped his shirt off before the

Things have gotten too big & there's so many layers to the performance (last time I saw them, Blondie Chaplin was playing an acoustic guitar...Blondie Chaplin! I go to a concert to see my 2 favorite guitarists in the world do what they do best, I don't want
