I remember in the old Sticky Fingers mags there have been bootleg charts and best-of lists, too!
They had that big poster with the Stones 40(50)? greatest boots!

And . . once you start . . it ain't easy . .!!

- Live'r Than You'll Ever Be, 69
- Get Your Leeds Lungs Out, 71
- Fort Worth, 72
- Brussels Affair, 73
- LA Forum, 75
- El Mocambo, 77
- Handsome Girls, 78
- Girls, Pills & Powders, 78
- Cirkus Krone, 03
- Warsaw, 07

hmm, well the first 3 are the best.

I would perhaps exchange Warsaw with Budapest (2007), and Fort Worth with New York MSG (1972) but...yes...I agree with this list...

Wish I'd heard enough bootlegs to have a Top Ten (but I'm working on it, and this thread will be very useful.)

Other folks included non-Stones boots, so I'll add Led Zeppelin "Four Blocks in the Snow" (MSG Feb 12, 1975). For Zep fans, it's a must-have.

As for the Stones' "Hampton '81" & "Ladies & Gentlemen", these are absolutely essential bootleg DVDs. I'd be willing to bet that they will never be officially released as Mr. Jagger is fully aware that they are in widespread circulation. Same goes for the legendary Brussels/Wembley 1973 audio AND the 1972 "Lost Live Album".

I suppose you meant to quote a different post.....
Anyways, "Having a Laugh In Brixton" is not the best source for July 19th 1995 at all

"Necrophilia"....yeah that's a nice listen; it's almost like what "Metamorphosis" almost accomplished - but didn't.....despite of some great songs on side B, "Metamorphosis" is not a pleasant listen, if one doesn't skip tracks.
The pop version of "Blue Turns To Grey" on Necrophilia is excellent....
