he played on a basketball team- and is known to comment on sports, like when he discussed the Super Bowl a few times, I wonder if Mick keeps up with the NCAA tournament, I bet he did a bracket.

Yeah no big upsets yesterday except for Western Kentucky. I love all the talk about expanding the tournament. Why, so more teams can get beat by 50. I went 12-4 yesterdy on my office pool. Not as many upsets as I thought their would be. So today I'm betting the farm (not mine somebody else's) on Louisville and Pitt.

SCL

WKU as you know, a solid program for umpteen years. The most disgusting game yesterday was Clemson - Michigan. My wife who is a novice fan asked me: Why is Clemson so nervous?? She hit on the nail. It seems like that the teams which play loose fare better in the tense environment. Maryland and Gonzaga are good examples.

Yeah I knew Cal was a fraud. The Pac 10 sucks this year. UCLA should of lost.

Well the Boston College - USC game will tell more of the PAC 10. I cannot dismiss the showing of Washington. Also AZ ands ASU seem to be solid. I think ASU will beat Temple decisively today. And AZ should beat Utah in a close one. No offense IMHO I think you are under rating the PAC 10. However, we will learn more today of that conference.

ASU might actually be decent. But their is no way AZ should be in here. I'm just pissed that St Mary's didn't get in. Oh well, gives me a reason to watch the NIT.

Mick's dad Joe was an authority on basketball and his sons are very proud of his influence in making it known in Britain.

SCL,

My ACC teams were humbled yesterday. Hopefully, MD, UNC, and Duke will come through today. These teams have better point guards, which is crucial for success in this tourney.

Yeah go figure man. Cleveland St. It's like Deja Vu all over again. Meanwhile I am mounting a furious comeback with my new strategy. Just keep betting on Big East teams until you find 1 or that will cover. Go UConn and the Tar Heels tonight.

Title game tonight. North Carolina against Michigan St. Tar Heels big favorite here. But if the Spartans pull the upset,I win my March Madness pool. Worth about a grand this year....That'll pay for my Springsteen excursions....And maybe a few more.smiling bouncing smiley
