Thank you Sam! Was no remastering needed on the Largo tracks?

Not too many of these '81 SBDs *need* remastering. Truth is I'm short of time right now so I just posted the straight rip.

Many thanks for sharing, Laughingsam, just downloaded Pontiac 11/30/1981 DSP remaster, a great upgrade, aweful sound. Unfortunately "Waiting on a Friend" is missing. Is it absent from the source? Or is it a failure in the download file? Thanks in advance und best wishes, RJ.

there is a way to improve this situation. You can adjust the treble on your equipment.
Marko, you don't have an awful sound like RJ mentionned ?

Hey mates, my statement ("awful") seems to be misunderstood. I mean "awful" in the sense of "extraordinary good". Never heard a better version of Pontiac 1981 (11/30). Great applause again for Laughingsam for his efforts.

Track is available on other sources. Though not in this quality. Nice job on this as usual Sam. Will some of these ever make it to FLAC?

Thanks for your answer and sorry for the language lapse (aweful (?) for awesome what I meant). You've done a great job. Best wishes, RJ.

The following remaster was added to page 1 of this thread:

PARIS OUTTAKES VOL. 1 & 2 [DSP Remaster]
source: Vigotone (VT-CD11 + VT-CD12)

Wow, I must say that this really is a major improvement! I really like how you absolutely improved the 'listenability' of most audience tapes (and I thought LA Friday and Charlotte could not be improved), but this set of Paris Outtakes now is much, much better! You can actually hear what the lyrics are in 'I Need You'!

Just grabbed Pittsburgh 72, thank you very much!
One minor quibble, on first listening it seems that your version too has "Sweet Virginia" from Fort Worth, not Pittsburgh.
Looks like it isn't around in soundboard quality!?

Rank Stranger, as far as I know the Sweet Virginia from Pittsburgh isn't on any of the Pittsburgh bootlegs. I remember thinking wtf? when I was remastering the show.

It's allright with me, maybe you should just tell in your post where SV is from?
That way you get rid of folks like me, who didn't read all the 10 pages of your thread carefully!
Anyway, I have uploaded Sweet Virginia Pittsburgh 72 here:

But this is not so good audience quality only!!

And now I'm downloading Paris 70, as it has gotten some good reviews; thanks in advance.

Hi LaughingSam, it seems that "Star Star" is incomplete on your San Francisco 1975 remaster. Could you please check it out, when you have time? THanks - if so.
