there is a way to improve this situation. You can adjust the treble on your equipment.

Hey mates, my statement ("awful") seems to be misunderstood. I mean "awful" in the sense of "extraordinary good". Never heard a better version of Pontiac 1981 (11/30). Great applause again for Laughingsam for his efforts.

I've just downloaded Pontiac show, nov 30, 1981 and yes indeed it's a great remastering. Better sound and in stereo ! thanks a lot Laughingsam !

Wow, I must say that this really is a major improvement! I really like how you absolutely improved the 'listenability' of most audience tapes (and I thought LA Friday and Charlotte could not be improved), but this set of Paris Outtakes now is much, much better! You can actually hear what the lyrics are in 'I Need You'!

One minor quibble, on first listening it seems that your version too has "Sweet Virginia" from Fort Worth, not Pittsburgh.
Looks like it isn't around in soundboard quality!?

Rank Stranger, as far as I know the Sweet Virginia from Pittsburgh isn't on any of the Pittsburgh bootlegs. I remember thinking wtf? when I was remastering the show.

It's allright with me, maybe you should just tell in your post where SV is from?
That way you get rid of folks like me, who didn't read all the 10 pages of your thread carefully!
