hi laughingsam

yours the 1972 Philly-Fort Worth [DSP Remaster]
sourced from TSP-CD-50-2

any chance to remaster the other philly tracks ?

I got a terrific torrent a while back posted on Dime. It was called "The Philadelphia Project" here's what the back looked like (hopefully it loads in here)

This torrent caused me to abandon any effort to remix or mess with the Philly tracks from 1972. I think they're nearly all in the best possible quality on here, so to answer your original question: No, at the moment I'not looking to do anything with the other Philly tracks.

Hi Joe, is this a different mix to your original post of NJ?

Nicstone: I think the Hal Ashby film had performances from the following:

Tempe 12/13/81, tracks 1-11, 22, 24-25
East Rutherford 11/6/81, tracks 12-13,19
East Rutherford 11/5/81, tracks 14-18, 20-21, 23

Hey Paul, I put a note in the download that I really don't know if this latest post was the same mix as the original. It's the only mix I had saved on my HD.

Just added to the index:

Sympathy For The Devil (Hyde Park 7-5-69) [DSP Mix]
source: "He Is Not Dead"

Sympathy For The Devil (hyde Park 7-5-69) [DSP Alt Mix]
source: "He Is Not Dead"

There's only a slight difference between the 2 mixes. The primary mix has a little more bass than the alt mix and the alt mix has a slightly faster character shape applied to the limiter, causing more clarity.

You can stop asking about it now (you know who your are tongue sticking out smiley ) Hope it sounds good to your ears my friend

Hey Joe,

Well...
Maybe as a source it would be better to choose remaster done by MrEcho ([email protected]) in 2011. It was here on iorr on June 16, 2011.
MrEcho wrote:

TSP-CD-023 (CD)

For sure Jagger sounds there better and I think that in your hands everything would jump to the top.

just added to index:

1999.02.25 The Hanger, Toronto [DSP Mix]
This is a remix of Dandelion 91-92 "While The Wind Blows Over Toronto"

Remixed with Ozone 5 Advanced and Presonus Studio One. The VST was hosted in Presonus and written all-at-once.

The aim was to infuse a bit more clarity into the mix. There's a bit of rumbling in Midnight Rambler. Rather than eliminating it, which kind of left the track sounding hollow, it was left in.

enjoy!

Thanks Joe very much.
Deeper, more dynamic sound.
And look... there is silence after this post.
Strange...

Thanks my friends. Im'gonna take a break from IORR.ORG, but I suspect I'll be back.

Thanks to everyone who posted to this thread. I started it as a lark, and since that first post it's turned me on to some great concerts and lesser-known studio stuff all provided by Stones fanatics...I salute all of you for your knowledge.

Joe,

without your Master Hand this blog is bound to bordom and stagnation.
But on the other hand, it is really strange that your last post got
only 3 responses. Can others do without your work so easily?
We'll see...

Thanks for everything.
Best,
Greg

Thanks and come back mate!

I've noticed that Europe '76 is a singular tour for me. I find if I'm in the right frame of mind the Earls Court shows are perfect to listen to & the enjoyment I derive is golden.
