You know what, tonite is the Noche de San Juan, Bonfires of Saint John, now I know why Spain won! Previous day this day, this day is celebrated in the whole country, its a night of magic, witches, dreams, wishes and is typical take a bath at 12 am, so you can eliminate your bad influences and negativities, and before that people gather together on the beach or any site and create large bonfires from any kind of wood, such as old furniture and dance and jump up around the fire.Metaphorically speaking they burn bad memories and bad things.
I post some pic I just took a couple minutes ago before the night beguin, so more dancing, alcohol, music, concerts, etc, we don´t stop over here!! Around my area no people dancing and jumping just burning memories...
Dont forget take a shower or bath at 12 am tonight!!!

yeah since all "my teams" are out i really go for the spains! the deserve it...finaly!

The reason why I was happy and Hung over during all day after the Italy Vs Spain...Just images can explain that, if you need to know whcih dishes are just let me know, some of them we ate yesterday talked in previous threads over here, of course paring with great wine from Tenerife. We'll see. If Germany (my team) and Spain make it to the final I'd like to travel to Tenerife to have a party with Carlitos.

The Russian team is very strong, anyway I hope that Spain will make it to the final. It impressed me how the Spanish players accepted all the wrong decisions by our German referee;-). And I think they played well against a very destructive Italy.

Russia will be a strong force in European football in the years to come...the player s are young (youngest team at the Euro2008*TM).

Seeing all those pix from the Spanish celebrations I think it would be a fine choice to have the Euro2012 in Spain...if Poland and Ukraine can't make it.

I agree with Papo, Russia with this players and with that dutch mentality of nice playing with Hiddick, they will be big very soon.
Too many expenses to create a EURO 2012, but I think i read something about it, and I believe they want it!!
Tenerife or any island will be a great destination, and beside that, you know, goat meat HEAD soup, paellas, wine, serrano ham, fiesta, siesta, etc...

I want spain to win but i believe they will underperform..i cannot belive they will win because they always lose.. in fact what they do is they play well and then the next game they play like crap...its always been like this.... i remember this from when i was a kid...

like i said i hope they prove me wrong... also, the idea that they can beat germany in the final is laughable..truly. i don't think anyone in their right minds would bet on spain- even if they beat russia- to beat germany...

but we shall see.. the games have to be played..

the best teams (holland, protugal) are out. so this tournament is over for me.
that's what i don't like about those football championships: unlike in other sport-disciplines, it's almost never the best that wins...

But Holland and Portugal were outplayed in both the matches they lost. That's the whole point of a tournament. It's like sex...don't shoot your load too quickly.
