Ok, it's been a few days - but I have to say that I'm really happy for the Spanish team.
These are great guys.
They've played football for an hour with some local kids in the small Austrian village where they stayed during the Euro.
After winning the cup they did not stay in Vienna but returned to the small village to have a party with the local citizens. They had a late night dinner at a local pizzeria and than had a party with a few hundred people from the village on the main square. The poeple from the village woke up their kids (the same ones that had been playing football with them before) late at night to be part of the party.
Not only did they play the best football during the Euro and deservedly won the cup - these are really great guys, they have a team spirit...
Celebrate, Spain! Looking forward to see you in 2010!
