Yes, it can go really slow, these are large files. But the more people join, the faster it should go. The trick with torrents is, is that every computer helps with the download. So, if you already have 10%, then a newcomer might be downloading the file from your HD, etc. The most important thing is to not quit the program after you readch 100%. Otherwise, nobody will be able to reach 100%. Usually it is ok to close it after a few days or so.

Great news Gazza, I have tried these torrent files before, left my computer running for days to get a show than got an error and I got nothing. Very frustrating Kent. Don't you also have to do something else after you download them, like convert the files or something in order to put it on a disk. And this requires another program. I am tired just thinking about this.

use burnatonce to convert FLAC files to a CDR. Its free to install and a piece of cake to run.

For those suffering from slow downloads: do a google combination search on 'port forwarding' and torrents. In my case opening a few ports on my router multiplied my d'load speed by a factor 100.

I think the original tracks came from a music cassette - thy haven't been on CDr

Yep. Gazza got it from a music cassette given to him by a widow to a former member of the Stones' roadcrew (Not sure, but it could be Chuch Magee).

BTW: Check out Ready Yourself too. Although instrumental it's quite good.
