aren't they a hell of a band! a combination of Georgia Satellites and Jason & the Scorchers..Warner Hodges ..
Homemade Sin is very under the radar too..a real pub and club band out to rock and roll, no matter what. Keith Christopher, Mauro Magellan, excellent engine.

When I was in NYC 2 weekend's ago we went by the Bowling Alley - they have some great shows!! Very popular venue with the hipsters from what I heard.

Sounds like the Stones don't share much of their loot with the supporting musicians if Bobby feels the need to squeeze in a show between Stones gigs. Godd for him though as it will be sold out with all the fans in the area.

its a fine band but I've only seen youtube clips
i am a big fan of Dan Baird, who is a rock and roller thru and thru, absolutely in no way does he imitate anyone but he has got a lot of stones vibe...also is a reknowned songwriter and guitar player (bass player too in another band, The Bluefields) in his current band Homemade Sin...done a fair amount of producing as well. and..the Georgia Satellites were pretty much his band. still sound great, to me..
I hope Bobby Keys gets the whole band in Stones shows, its cool to think of them possibly mingling..backstage or at an afterparty, etc

bowling alleys are great venues for shows. i saw an animals reunion show at the bronco bowl in dallas in '83. i spared no expense but we split after the show cos you have to strike while the irons...oh, nevermind...

Brooklyn Bowl's a great club - it's not nearly as depressing as it sounds! I'm meeting a friend for a beer at a bar about 3 blocks from there, so I'll swing by and check out the load-in and whatnot. Or possibly run into the band at the bar - who knows?

I'm standing outside of the bowling alley now. Box office opens at 6. Show around 8:30. The Brooklyn brewery opens at 6, and it is right next door.
