I really hope whatever 2017 shows they put together aren't just festivals. I'd love to fly to Europe to catch a few shows but I don't think I could muster the motivation for festivals. Especially if this is the end of the Stones as a touring band. It seems like a really diluted and watered down way to end it.
Thing is they played Europe in 2014 so it will only have been 3 years if they indeed come back next year. There might be some concern that they won't be able to fill these stadiums on their own like the last time. It wouldn't be as bad as 2006->2007 especially if there is a new album but still...On the other hand some "festivals" are "ok", BST Hyde Park wasn't very different from going to a Stones' show like Longchamps 1995. Festivals like Werchter require more planning. LP
We're they unable to fill stadiums in 2006-2007?

In Turkey and outdoors on the second (or was it third?)leg of the US ABB tour in late october. Don't worry, that would have happened with ANY band

Lots of Middle European venues were far from sold out in 2006&07: Vienna, Munich, Berlin, Werchter, Nijmegen, Brno, Warsaw and probably some more.

They have only played Turkey once, in 1998.

My thought is they bring back Bill and Mick T, that would pull a lot of interest combined with a back to the roots Blues CD. Just a thought/idea.

In my opinion if they'll make a new album next spring then they'll touring for others 3 years with 14/15 show each year:next year Europe, then in 2018 Australasia (Mick said that he would come back in South Africa and maybe India and then Exhibitionism will go in Australia in 2018...), then in 2019 North America with major US and canadian cities (I can't imagine no more show in N.Y.C. since 2012...)and to the endouth America early 2020!

The Stones will be touring Europe. There's nothing to fact check, just remember you heard it here first.
i want to believe you, really.. is 2016 a Fact???
hope so.

I think my source may be off on the dates, it can be cold in Europe in the fall, but it came straight from the top. So far my guy has been accurate about everything. The Fonda, San Diego, The S/A tour and Havana, Coachella. I've no reason to doubt him.

Well, they had played a sold out crowd at the same venue just the year before.
And the stadium was absolutely crammed in 2014.
(Was there - 2003,2006,2007,2014)

They should play a blues prom at the RAH, just do covers of the blues they love, coming full circle
