the Hamburg stadium is well know for awful acoustics. Therefore Hamburg is a rather unlikely option.

That surprises me. I was FoS at the show there on the Licks Tour in 2003 and the sound was perfectly fine. The show got very good reviews too!

At this stage they are accepting bids into the puzzle and then they do an a la carte tour. How great to be in the position to pick within bids from the greatest places to tour in Europe.

GA tickets for just € 99,90 are much too cheap for the Rolling Stones – thus one thing is for sure: they won't play there at that day (maybe another one of the festival days)

Day tickets for Pinkpop in 2014 were € 95.
€ 69 for Rock In Rio - Lisbon.
950 DKK (~€ 130) for Roskilde.
€ 150 for Golden circle at Werchter.

I believe they won't do much festival shows, if any. At this stage of their career merely few festivals in the world could afford them. Remember that festivals, even though they've got some huge sponsorship deals, need to book dozen of big names, incl. at least 3 headliners so they can't spend their whole budget on getting the Stones. I would rather bet on mostly stadium dates + 1-2 "intimate" arena or open air shows like Waldbuhne.

The Stones will be touring Europe. There's nothing to fact check, just remember you heard it here first.

Great memories indeed, even for those of us who were at home following the live thread. The concert was broadcasted by a Danish radio with some very weird (to say the least) live comments. grinning smiley

Yes, lol! There was somebody who could translate what they were saying, so that's how we knew what was being said that day.

spoke to a colleague few nights ago, as i knew she is a Stones fan. told her about the possibilities of a European Tour. She must have checked the general internet, as she approached me tonite .. Well cant find anything about the Tour.she said .

Well, you Must visit IORR, i replied and she will do so tomorrow. as a bonus, i told her the news about the blues album.

She looked at me in disbelief. Well..you have heard the greatest news now, believe me.

Hopefully some stadiums in Scandinavia, not arenas. Tele2 Arena in Stockholm in 2014 was a really "cold" place, didn't like the place at all, the concert was okay though. Helsinki won't be possible at all because there doesn't exist a suitable place, the stadium being under renewal construction and arenas are too small in Helsinki, sad sad sad....

Please do not use this thread for posting about older tours and past shows. If you want to talk about past tours/shows please use separate threads, otherwise this thread will be messed up. Thank you.
