this is copied from my confirmation page...

The Rolling Stones - Gimme Shelter Seats
As a part of the general onsale, there is something for everyone, including over a 1,000 tickets at $85 (including service charges). Some will be among the best seats in the house in the "Tongue Pit", with others spread around the arena. Tickets will be sold as a pair. You will find out your seat location when you pick them up the night of the show.

We will be using strict anti-scalper measures to ensure that these tickets go to Stones fans and don't end up on the resale market with wildly inflated prices. We appreciate your attention to the following, so that you have the best experience possible:
• You must pick up your tickets in person, along with your guest. Once you have the tickets in hand, you will be escorted into the arena. There will not be an opportunity to leave with your tickets before going into the show.
• Picture ID, your confirmation number, and the credit card used to make the purchase are required for pick-up. Without these things, you will not be able to pick up your tickets.
• If we suspect any reselling or transfer of these tickets they will be immediately voided and you will not be entitled to any refund.
• 2 ticket limit ..per person.

Yes AirGarcia,

That is what was posted on RS.com as of 4 or 5 days ago. Prior to that Everything else was the same except the 2 ticket limit per person was not there.

I have a print out of it from 4-25-13 no limits ,just says will be sold in pairs only.

Should be interesting to see how this process works going forward.

I gave up trying for Philly tickets. They can keep it

Same here. Especially after the "one song only" thing regarding Taylor. He was the only reason I wanted a ticket to begin with, but now I'm glad I struck out when thyey initially went on sale.

I bought 2 $85 tickets for Philly and received a confirmation of my Comcasttix account but they LOST my ticket order!!!!

So I'm totally bummed; no tickets.... But now I can buy Flyer tickets no problem with my comcast account....

I may drive up and see if I can get a single ticket. I want to see them on this tour but with two little ones I cannot travel far anymore.

Putting aside all of the issues with the website, how is the venue itself? As always, I am thinking about one more show.

I have that question as well. I'll be going for the first time and have no idea what the venue is like (assume its like most American arenas).

Also, if the venue/Comcast/website loses your tickets after you get your confirmation, isn't there a way for you to contact them and prove you already got a confirmation and use that on the night of the show? I mean, clearly you bought your tickets, and they are giving the $85 tickets out night of show. Surely its not like the tickets disappeared and there will be a pair of empty seats that night. I would think there has to be a way you can straighten that out with them and get your tickets back.

The venue is fine. The accoustics are above average. Good sight lines all the way around. I saw them there several times and have no complaints. Speaking of comcast tix... They never charged my credit card for the two tickets I ordered. I have my tickets in hand, so I may end up having the cheapest tickets in the house...

Good to hear. Thanks.

And good luck getting in for free! Some of us fans certainly deserve that faux pas from the company.

Venue at one time was called First Union Center.

Interesting abbreviation.

No record of my transaction, nothing on my credit card, ust a Comcastickets membership welcome email. I called and they had no record and she said she was sorry.....I cannot scream at people who are just doing the 9-5. She looked to see if any decent scattered seats were available at a decent price to no avail...

They just announced in DC my hometown so maybe things are looking up!!!

I still want to go to the friday Philly show and will try to get a single at the last moment. Thanks for asking and I hope you all love the show(s) you see!

It was well known from day one that there was a two ticket limit for the 85's. every venue. anyone saying otherwise is either lying or was not paying attention.

Comcast Tix posted a two ticket per person limit for the initial on-sale.

No, I don't mean take your $85 ticket and NOT go in...I say, go in, and if your seat really sucks, go buy a better one...if they let you go out, yes, sell it. But I am thinking as others have said, if you are in a horrible seat, MOVE when it gets dark after a few songs. You KNOW there will be some empty seats.

Haven't read of anyone being notified for the day of show production drops, and the tickets page at rollingstones.com has $85's "SOLD OUT" for San Jose tonight, so those hoping for tickets might want to use this link - [www.ticketmaster.com]

They're either unaware or asleep at the switch for today's drop. San Jose link is still dead at rollingstones.com/tickets, and nothing's been mentioned on Facebook or Twitter.
