Yes, true. It's (almost) incomprehensible to imagine that would be the motivation on his part.

But whatever, I guess it was "something"..... too good to be true we'd get a full six member reunion/project of some sort.

It was an informal jam. It's not like they booked a recording session or tour rehearsal and Taylor didn't turn up. Nothing is firm yet for 2012 as far as we know. Just wait and see what happens next.

As William says above, we're just talking about an informal jam. Between colleagues who dont otherwise see much of each other. The details (personnel, dates, location, musical content, etc) aren't merely speculation but are factual but cant be posted on a public forum at the moment. Thats not a case of being evasive just for the sake of it, but a pre-condition on the info that was provided.

They are not really always better informed. Some news break here first, some on Shidoobee and others again on the Rocks Off message board. You'll often find a reference to IORR on Shidoobee and vice versa.

sometimes the news breaks on the ray conniff messageboard, too...you just never know...that's why you need spies monitoring all the sites.
