There is no indication of 33 or 45 rpm on the Gloom And Doom vinyl so when I plaid it for the first time I just put it on 33 rpm. Woow. Try it, a fantastic slow blues. The singing is a bit off but not too much

Jan, is this an entirely new mix, or one of the first two, or can you tell?

I'd ask Boston as well, but he obviously won't be opening his!

You got that right but once the other 2 arrive perhaps I will open just one >grinning smiley<

The picture sleeve looks homemade!

Do you have any info on when it was released Boston?

I presume you have the Exile Blues flexi as well...

The sleeve is home made I stated that in the post , but the maker did a pretty good job of it .

Seller had no info on release date . These were popular as giveaways in the teen magazines in the '60's .

And yes , I have the Exile flexi .

Is this a Dutch single?

I don't want to ask what you actually paid, however, what do you estimate the value of it at and what condition is it in (obviously centre is detached).

A second one was released as well: [www.vinylstones.org]

I bought them both a few years ago for 20 Euro each from a Croatian dealer, not that rare at all but beautiful in a way.

Nah...I haven't bought anything off EBAY for a few years now. I've bought a fair bit of new stuff on Amazon though.

I may go back and fill in a few holes. I still 'need' Dandelion/We Love You picture sleeve for example

Those are up there .

Be prepared to spend well over $100.00 , unless you get lucky .

Wow...missed this post. Can I presume you're from NZ?

What was the release date on this, never heard of it...although the cover is of course the iconic 5 by 5.

OK, this is a lot of photos...1983 ROLLING STONES FAN CLUB Package, including interview 45. I bought it on EBAY a few years ago, I think for about 12 dollars, a pretty good deal I think....first up, the order form:

Next, the front of the package:

Next of course, a welcome letter from fan club president, Mr. William Perks!

Next up, photos of the band, autographed...quite nice actually:

How do they get around the world anyway? Passports, that's how:

Why do they need passports? The tours:

A lovely letter from the man who started it all...

and, the interview 45:

Overall a very cool package and while I've seen them come up on EBAY occasionally, not all that common. I think I'm missing a couple of items, a button and stickers but cool nonetheless.

RE UNSTOPPABLE STONES - pic above. Yeah, I'm in NZ. The catalogue number is LKM6004 released 1965, red label. Rereleased 1969 and again in 1978, always in mono with Blue label and with the different covers you see on eBay. Very common to see with the Australian cover, not many of these -around 1000 printed in NZ. You are correct, it's the same from as the 5X5 EP

If the first release of this was in '65, what I find interesting is why? At a cursory glance, at least half the songs were already on album...I'm just wondering why they'd bother putting out a repackage this early?

Don't get me wrong, it's cool and I want one! Just wondering what their rationale would have been.
