Street Fighting Man at Twickenham on Licks 2002/3 was bloody amazing. As was Satisfaction On ABB e.g. Rome 2007. Loved it! PS: JJF, GS & PIB are always winners too.

Further to the above, I did actually hope that for ABB tour they might open with Rough Justice.... but it never happened. It would have silenced a few critics who say the new stuff is too weak etc etc.

I can't believe half of what I'm reading above. Personal faves aside, the intro has simply GOT to be a well-known, short/fast track to get the show running. Jagger wouldn't have it any other way. Not Fade Away was great. Start Me Up is too predictable now. Sympathy is too long. What about It's All Over Now (a bit naughty, to please the critics) which went down a storm

When I first got into the Stones, I used to think that Mick was the man, like any casual Stones fan I guess. Then I got to thinking that Keith was the real spirit of the band and so the most "important" and honest artistically. Since his decline though, and despite many people's willingness to slate him (yes, he's had bad times but also good ones), I kind of thought Ronn

I think the review is unnecessarily harsh. I saw SAL at the London IMAX last night and it went down a storm. The Stones have been around for 45 years or so - what do people expect? And just compare them to anyone else... you can't. They're incomparable. So I think the film is great - 4/5 definitely. The old interview segments were priceless and a few more may have gone down well,

I was lucky enough to go to the London premiere last night and the band were introduced onstage at the start to great applause. For what they're worth, a few thoughts on the film: *Much funnier than I expected, due to choice selection of old interview clips from around the world *Very loud sound mix in the cinema - my ears are still ringing this morning! *It looks like the band h

It was a great evening of music.... Mick T called Bill "a real gentleman" and did a wonderful No Expectations. He called Beggars Banquet the best RS album, even if he wasn't on it. I think Bill agreed. I had lowered by expectations for Chuck Berry massively based off some recent Internet reviews of his shows but he got a superb reception and everyone seemed to enjoy the evening.

They're both awesome. FF is perfect. Only gripe with TBB is minor overdubs but the presentation and overall experience knocks me out (and the neighbours!).

I was lucky enough to go to the premier of this at a cinema in Kensington on Monday. Townshend & Daltrey were there for a Q&A session, hosted by Jermey Clarkson, and other notables included Bianca Jagger in attendance. My thoughts? What a great film doc from a truly great band. Seeing it on the big screen in their presence with big sound was AWESOME. 10/10! Can't wait for S

Ronnie by far. Then Charlie - who is in a whole class of his own. very well dressed! Mick is the biggest star, of course. Keith is the most loved.

It's on now - BBC2.... where's Ronnie... he was in the UK papers today preparing for it. As was Keef, attending a rally near his home in England to stop the closure of a local hospital. Nice one!

#1 Get Yer Ya Yas Out #2 Love You Live #3 Still Life All the rest are boring. I don't know about you but I generally find the visual enjoyment of watching the Stones perform adds hugely to my enjoyment of the live albums, not withstanding the above showstoppers.
