Today's Sunday papers excerpt from the book quotes Ronnie as saying the band will be working again very soon.... a good sign!

Sorry - I haven't had a chance to read all the preceding contributions. I just bought the Best of MJ and am blown away (and frankly surprised!) by how much I love it all. Even dogsh*t stuff like Let's Work (gulp!). Perhaps some nostalgia in there as I've avoided listening to it for 15 years! Love Charmed Life! Love God Gave Me Everything! Just Another Night! Old Habits Die

There was loads of security walking around so the touts got chased off. That said, I did manage to get a ticket off one for Sunday but I just got lucky, I guess, as later he'd "disparu" (perhaps lost in a jail in South America). SPOT the song reference

A few honourable mentions aside (Saint, OOC, Keef reggae, yes ASM, I find B2B to be virtually unlistenable these days. It was boring and uninspired. ABB was much better, as was Voodoo.

Mathijs, does he use a capo then if it's open G? Just wondering the fret position the other chord runs are played in. Thanks

Bill Wyman walked thru the middle of the O2 arena at tonight's show about 20 minutes before the show started but didn't join them on-stage

Just got back from the show. It was a good one at a great new venue. You've seen the set list, so just a couple of observations: *Before the show started, Bill Wyman walked across part of the arena floor with an entourage before disappearing, presumably having just been to wish them a good show *Keith refused to let YGMR end and kept the song going into extra verses. It looked to st

The London Evening Standard newspaper also delivered a great full page review of the first O2 show..."Stellar Stones prove time is still on their side" (4/5 stars). ... sorry if this was already posted somewhere else.

I agree 100% with everything BowieStone says. Plus Jagger doesn't get "introduced" midway thru the show like the others... there's no doubt he's earned that last cheer.

This to me is the best version of IORR they do... Any guitarists out there please: Does anyone know if it's in open G and whether a capo is used, which position the chords are played in? Any help appreciated! Many thanx

Tonight's show Mick commented that it was two years ago the ABB tour started and they never expected it to carry on this long. I think that was arounf the time they had just f%^&ed up the ending to Rocks Off and MJ joked that he also wondered how that would ever end. Funny!

Just got back... Great show, some nice picks (Rocks Off, Silver, CYHMK, Beast of Burden, Paint It Black, Let It Bleed, a James Brown cover I can't recall the name of - sorry!). Guitars were loud, Ronnie was on fire, Mick his usual high energy self. Come show time, the concert was at least 95% sold out so no worries on that score... HATED the security - kept telling people to sit

To me, it seems that at the start we were all worried about Ronnie (he didn't look so hot at Giants Stadium) but he's really pulled it together. Playing superb now. Perhaps he's had to - Keef is not all there after all.

Probably it's just that the cover songs sound "fresher" so we enjoy them relatively more. Agree it'd be great if they could dig out one or two real oldies from their very early catalogue.

I'm not sure I can say it's the best RS concert of all time, not having seen them all clearly, but I can say that it's my fave commercially available show live - I just watched it again - absof*ckinlutely SUPERB. That Jagger's a machine! It even beats out my previous fave (Voodoo Lounge: Giants Stadium) into second place, and that's saying something! My advice: Buy
