Love the bow esp. the second one when it's just the four of them. Great stuff.

Such a treat to see the Double Door excerpts on this thread. Why the hell don't they release a DVD of this sort of stuff for the fans??? It's what we want to see!

Used to love Q. Never buy it now. Too many pointless "lists" instead of real content + we can find out news much easier and more up to date on the Net these days. So if it's not going to do genuine, interesting in-depth stuff then there's no point in it anymore.

Great album and tour. The only track I don't enjoy is Jugular - it sounds forced and even out of tune in some places. Overall the best album since Tattoo You though.

I seem to remember that around the time of Voodoo Lounge there was a RS branded credit card available. Whatever happened to that? Did anyone get one? And would anyone be interested in having a RS Visa card if it was possible?

I don't blame them. I'd do the same, esp. when you see how our taxes are totally wasted by the burnt-out & clueless British govt we have.

I'm not an expert on the sound of CDs and some of this thread is above my head but I picked up Tattoo You, Undercover and IORR and they all sound superb to me. Crisp. loud. I can't comment on the others - tempted to pick up B&B too.

Loved the free song download from the Crowes. Great listening! And thoroughly agree as to the greatness of Southern Harmony. Are they a copy of 69-74 Stones. Yes, but everyone copies everyone else so who cares? As someone already posted, see it as an homage and a compliment to the RS!

I think Charlie has a collection of classic cars but still does not know how to drive (or have a UK driving licence, more accurately). The Stones 'had to' postpone some shows from 1998 as our Great Leader here (Gordon "Useless/Greedy' Brown) is always changing the rules to milk us Brits of all our hard-earned cash and bankrupt the country. Ooops -strayed into politics there

I saw Bono & the Edge being interviewed on Jonathan Ross on Friday night. They said one of the reasons they chose the Claw layout was that it allowed for more space and therefore seats in the stadium for the fans. Bono was particularly proud and made a point of saying that the cheapest tix start from 30 euros, which is pretty amazing these days, we have to agree. Perhaps Mick & K

I think there's something along those lines already in London called Satisfaction. Never seen it.

I think that - to boost ticket sales - they will make an announcement that they are about to play their last global mega-tour... This will excite interest whilst also leaving the door open to smaller future tours or lucrative residencies at venues, which may well suit them better later on anyway. That way, they can have their cake and eat it. MJ is smart enough to do that. Think of the $$$.

I went into his gallery Scream in London a few months back, which is run by his son, and there are no future plans for any of his work to be shown there so I imagine he's in the doghouse with the whole family.

Not Woody's fault at all. They'd run out of ideas around the time he joined and at least he has kept the band together as a going concern when it could all have ended in tears decades ago.

I think it's because: 1. They don't release any genuinely exciting material for the fans, aside from a new studio album every X years that's probably not going to set the charts on fire and with the honourable exceptions in last 25 years of Forty Licks (convenience for casual fans), Four Flicks (great) and I guess the Biggest Bang DVD 2. Please stop releasing live CDs of the

Call me a cynic but our Keef probably got paid a few quid to say he's signed up to the service. All good publicity and implied credibility for TuneCore and a few bucks for KR.

I've usually not particularly enjoyed the modern live Satisfaction: the singing is poor, the riff is too much in the background and it's a disappointment (in exactly the same way that JJF is not). That said, I saw them do a long version of it in Rome in 2007 and it totally blew me away. Loved it!
