Yup, me! Haha, but yeah I mean it. I live in Trondheim, and I do some DeeJay'ing a couple times a month, always only play rock and roll music that really swings! You know, it gotta roll, right? And I almost always do play Dance Little Sister, so you're right on, Beelyboy!:-) And there's also quite a few really great norwegian rock and roll to play, I always play Backstreet Girls. A

Yeah, it's cool to see the guys on the cover of all the music magazines and see Exile on the stands in the record shops, it's more fun to go to the shops than it's been in a long, long time. I think that we will never get tired of Exile, it's not just the music on the record, it's all the books and stories and now the Stones In Exile film, L&G and CS Blues and every

Alright, thanks a bunch, Ross :-) I really like the song, it definitely feels like the Exile era, and I love the back-up singing. Real cool feel of the song, and it's damn catchy!

I've also just heard that they used the name April Wine, after the canadian band with the same name. Never heard that before. Much more songs on the 2nd night. I think it looks strange, but have no real idea. If it says so on Nico's site, I believe that.

Do somebody know the setlists for both nights? And what was the name they were announced as those nights? The Cockroaches? Setlists for both nights are posted here: But are those true? Love the album, but the El Mocambo tracks are the coolest, what a nice'n sweaty feeling!

On the LA Blues video, the sax is credited to Bobby and a guy called Trevor Lawrence. My copy is a bit blurry, but it must be him on You Can't Always Get What You Want, right? Here's some info I found about him: or at least I guess it's him. Anybody knows if he played on the whole tour? And anything else you know about him?

Heard a story about Bobby Keys really liked the norwegian band Titanic, this was in the 70's. The Stones saw them perform and Bobby wanted to play with them and Mick asked them about it, but the band said they had to come back the next night, and they did. That's pretty cold, huh? Anybody else heard this? There's a book on the way, written by Tom Kristensen, one of the original mem

A friend of mine once said - cause someone was talking about how many mistakes Keith and Ronnie play these days - that it doesn´t matter, just take a good look at who´s playing! I always love to think back at that, cause I feel he´s so damn right. To see The Stones, it just warms, and I love all those moments you´ve mentioned here:-)

Star Spangles is a fantastic band, all Stones fans are gonna love ´em!:-) And Tommy Volume is a great guy to drink with in NYC! Shidoobee - what you mean `any of our boys´? No Stones folks there, as far as I know. Gonna be a great night anyway. It´s been on a tour, I think, with different bands on the bill, including the New York Dolls. I think Little Steven´s radio show is sponsored

Ian released the album on cd with the Last Chance For A Dance ep, as well as some bonus tracks, including the unedited version of Truly. You should get it from Mac´s pages, it´s for a real alright price. I just got it in the mail today. in the cover, Ian writes that Truly was recorded by the New Barbarians at the end of the US tour in 1979.

Is there another place in Oslo, besides Valle Hovin, they can play? Yeah, I see Ullevaal is mentioned, maybe that can be a better place? Haven´t been there, and not too fond of Valle Hovin. I guess they used trucks when they had Aha at Lerkendal. Nowhere near what is used for a Stones show, sure, but I guess they have thought about this when they started talking about the Stones at Lerkendal. B

Angus Young used it in 1980, you can see it in the Let There Be Rock movie, and he did it on stage so everyone could see it. Hehe, I´ve always thought that just looked cool, so I got no problems at all with Mick using it.
