I want to make a topic on the other bands
which have made first part of the Rolling Stones Concerts.
Some are to forget but some are awesome!
For me the best band i've seen in a first part of the STONES
was J-GEILS BAND in 1982.

Try to post at least one song

I begin with one of Keith's favorite band
ACDC
Back in black (1979) :[download.yousendit.com]
Killer version sung by Bon SCOTT!!!Much better for me that the offical one.

And for most of the rolling stones fans of the world,
another band which made 1rst part in PARIS in 1982 at Auteuil
well known by the French People but not by the rest of the world
The name of the Band TELEPHONE, the french Rolling Stones as they're
known at their debut!
Just One song from them where the singer try to sing in english
(funny for us French people)

In Paris (1985): [download.yousendit.com]

One more thing, play it LOUD!!!!!!!!!
Hope you enjoy
and waiting for your posts

Sorry man, that ain´t Bon singing, and I don´t think that´s Ac/Dc at all, really. The Telephone track is pretty cool:-)

It's NOT Bon as BIB wasn't written till after his death. Bon hadn't had a chance to write any lyrics for the album although there is some thought that he may have contributed to RockNRoll Aint Noise Pollution.

@Dr Pete

As i write upper, i'd always think it was him.
But I'm not a great Dr ACDC.
I like very much all their albums till 1979
After BON...it's another thing
The game is broken

I haven't downloaded the song, but I'm assuming the BIB is from a tribute album and this version is sung by Joe Lynn Turner, former Rainbow/Deep Purple singer.
BIB was written as a tribute to him, basically they're back rocking but they're still in mourning. Album opens with the Hells Bells funeral bells ringing.
I've mentioned here before that when I look back at that time in 1980 when Bon died, how fast the band got going again. He died Feb.19 and within 5 months, they had buried him, mourned his loss, decided to continue on, auditioned singers, found a singer, recorded the album (which Angus and Malcolm had already started writing some of the music for) and were out on the road! One of their first shows was in Vancouver in late July of 1980.
