I agree -- that Saitama show is wonderful. I remember watching it for the first time and being awestruck with the sheer power of 'Midnight Rambler' -- a supreme version of the song, absolutely thrilling stuff

This sounds quite magical indeed, pess book from a favourite era of the stones history -- the early '70's! Magnifique,it looks brilliant

I loved 'Time out of Mind' and 'Love and Theft',and have spinned 'Modern Times' quite a lot since it was released, but,as good as it is,and it has some quality tunes there,I do feel it's a wee bit over-rated. I don't think it's anywhere near Dylan's truly great works. After those poor albums of the '80's,when it looked like the Muse had l

That 'Earl Chin's Rockers' interview is good, but,as far as I know, the quality isn't up to much^ I have a version of it,but only half is watchable.

Too many to mention -- yes, even for the much maligned latter stones years of '83 onwards -- I for one feel there is much to savour, many wonderful tracks.. Okay,so,if to choose just ONE: Almost Hear You Sigh -- glorious balladry,up there with their best!

Would mostly agree.. I've always had such a love for 'Black and Blue' and 'Goats Head Soup',ranking them just under the 'Big 4'. 'Black and Blue' simply cooks! Some high profile fans of this album have professed thier admiration for it aswell --- Ex-Gunner Izzy Stradlin' places it very high on his favourite-stones-albums list, and, okay, perh

'Terrifying' is a gem! Always loved that track,a sublime groove, some tasty guitar licks & even tastier percussion. One of the 5 magical tracks on that SW album -- Terrifying/Almost Hear You Sigh/Continental Drift/Break the Spell/Slipping Away. I've always felt those 5 would have graced ANY stones album they appeared on. The rest of the album is hit and miss, some decent

Greetings to one an' all here in StonesLand, 'A chairde', Must say,the Bridges to Babylon tour is one of my absolute favourites, and, methinks I have all of the Pro-shots(8 or 9) -- plus Shepherds Bush '99/Wemblet '99/MSG '98 ---- Out of the huge lots of audience shot concerts from this tour(the Babylon tour, not the 'No Security' leg in '

The Mighty Quo --- Known also as the most knocked band in history, and, yes, one of the longest surviving acts. Methinks they started in '66,had thier first single in '67,and,continue to rock'n'roll to this very day, albeit with only Francis Rossi & Rick Parfitt remaining from the original lineup. I have such a love for the Quo -- or I should say,a love for the Quo LIVE

I'd like to add another personal choice for Holy-Grail of stones -- ANY video footage, obviously the more complete the better,of the Dublin shows from the LICKS extravaganza! Odd that no DVD bootleg exists of either show -- given the relatively intimate setting(7,000 or so people),and, the slice of history -- that the stones hadn't played here since '82 -- methinks it would

I'd add -- Petrol Gang No Spare Parts I Need You I can't Help it Zip Mouth Angel The excellent(IMO) 'Tried to Talk Her Into It' Actually, too many to mention, but, those 6 would be definitely on any UnRealeased Compilation I'd make..

Well shucks.... I heard the same AP rumour, but, they concluded with the news that in 2006,when Tony Blair steps down as British PM,he'll be the one finally realising his rock'n'roll dreams, departing New Labour and taking his place as frontman of 'NEW Rolling stones'^ After all, during Tony's college days in a(as Geldof once memorably mentioned)'crap rock ban

There are plenty of items on the Holy Grail list, but, one would absolutely have to be -- -- The rumoured Pro-Shot of the famous Brussels concert from 1973!! I've definitely read about it's possible existence, and my oh my,would it be sweet IF something like that ever materialised.

I too have those clips of the stones backstage at Fort Collins & going onstage with Elton -- I think it's on a video called 'Rock Und Rausch' -- it also includes interview footage with Bill Wyman, talking about Brian Jones if I remember correctly, overdubbed of course, goddamnit^,but, and,it's not too long. It then shows some onstage footage and the soundtrack is Bryan ferr

After seeing the band from fairly close in '95 & '99,the LICKS tour was my concert heaven -- Both Dublin gigs & one in Glasgow the week before, myself & my friends managed to get ever right up at the front!! I've been a fan for 10 years and never thought I'd see them indoors, let alone up so close,so as you can imagine,it was a magnificent experience. Since Dub

So much of Prince's stuff is supreme -- whether the detours/risks/self-indulgence always works is another question, but,at the very least,he's made more than his fair share of top-notch albums. 'HouseQuake',like another poster mentioned,is a goldmine of information & has a wicked Video-Forum,although I received a few warnings for requesting bootlegs^^ Hmm,learned a lesso
