I love this SLOW version ... it's the best version of the song I ever heard ... the double chorus "it's alright, yeah it's alright" is so much better than "it's alright now" ... the Gimme Shelter movie version is the BEST! Why didn't they take it for "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out"?

Yesterday I watched the (great!) Pete Townshend interview of the "Rock'n'Roll Circus" DVD. He mentioned, that Jagger had his hair dyed black from the filming of "Performance". Is that true??? I think "Performance" was made in 1970 ... not 1968. When did they shoot the film? And when was it shown in the cinemas?
