just watched this, personally i've always liked mj ballads, and i thought from the off this was good, seeing it in concert at TW1 was fabulous, my lovely girlfriend got into the rs thru abb, and especially rfd and sol BUT sol live, in particular in this video is totally and utterly fantastic. mj's performance is absolutely superb, would love to see the full version!

agreed : the studio version is 'ok', but on stage, it's simply the best song of ABB...

these days thats not hard as its very often the "only" song from ABB!

a standout and highly enjoyable track from the 4 Stadium shows i saw,
this summer.
I'd almost go as far as to say, it's the song/performance that was the footprint of the tour.
..which is very suprising, as the studio version, sucks.

Wow, Mick's guitar playing just gets better and better and his performance at the end, screamin and holding his guitar was really awesome! Great video and great song!

I never thought the studio version sucked and the live cut is even lot better.

I had a lot of "buts", when Mick introduced it in Munich (3rd gig with SOL)...I had not liked the studio-version too much by then but after 4 minutes of Mick's crying, I loved the song, also the studio-version.
The Stones managed it to evolve a song completely ON STAGE not with pressing it on CD. Great!
