I believe that most of the excitement for the sacd versions is due to the very poor quality of the normal versions (the originals CDs being better than the first remaster series which were absolutely a pile of shit). I have a quite good system, including a record player, and I can tell you that what you get on the original LPs is what yuo get on the sacd (ok the sacd sound like NEW lps).

Soulive is a great act. I can't see them in the context of a Stones show, but they are worth to be seen! C

My top 10 list changes every day. The usual "unusuals" could be: play with fire (always loved that one), off the hook, goodtimesbadtimes, undermy thumb (unusual?) haveyouseenyourmotherbaby / whosdrivingyourpalne (stupid bluesbutIloikit), of course, we love you (this is always in), shesmiled sweetly, miss amandajones, the great SING THIS SONG ALL TOGETHER (see what happens), Rambler

For that price G&L (Fender's guitars after ... Fender) "tribute" series are far better (craftmenship and sound) than any mexican tele/start model- I would go for one of those. If you want fender or nothing, the mexican tele highway 1 despite the shitty coating is not too bad ... I tried one that was even better than the avarage american standard. I know you know already

fact is that many bands play rolling stones covers, and, of course, Dylan plays like a RS, that is why they end up in the results C

Well, Decca men proved to be more competent than their mates from Virgin: London Years was a great release! The Ya Ya's dvd, if I understand it correctly, is NOT the film of the concert, only a collection of out takes and interviews etc. C

Yes, got my prato A ticket right away. Don't warry if they say it is "sold out": it is not. Lats time it was a complete mess: FOS were one day "sold out" and the next day easily available (almost until the date of the concert) . I don't know if this is their system to sell the shittiest places first or what. In any case, for those of you who have not been to

I think that a band should be a band. Team work. Interaction. Always. Unfortunately in most of the cases the singer and lead guitar are under the spot light and the others are there just to back up. In the worst of the cases there is the famigerate "one solo each" moment, as if to say: look they can play too, see? Well, I find these typical combos VERY boring. No matter who is on t

Greg: Very easy to do and delicious! Cook the orecchiette in the same water with the "cime" (chopped to pieces, not too small), a couple of peppers (peperoncini) and a little garlic. Once ready, add olive oil, a generous amount of "ricotta salata" (don't ask me to translate that in English! A sort of salted sheep cheese) and ready to go! C

Love hot stuff too!!! Studio version is great. 76 version with Ollie's percussion and wha wha was something else. But the best version could have been the Lix one, if only they insisted a little on it. I loved the different wha wha part, the funk bridge with nervous jazzy soloing by the brasses, darryl's groove. Of course it had to be rehearsed a little more: keith gets into the ry

This is how I see it. ABB will not be the last album. I guess we will have at least 3 or 4 more studio albums. ABB proved that they can do an album in a rush, if they want to. I am not even too sure that ABB will be their last big tour. Wyman is touring at 70. Jagger will want to show he can do it too and, of course, better! Someone wants to bet? C

Last show in Europe. I expected something special. Solid set, as usual, but nothin special truly happened. Except for Rambler. It impressed me. It sounded diverse from the standard version of that tour, particulary the mid section. I never found the boot of that show. Does anybody have it? Could someone post MR.? Trade 4 a kiss? C

Us version? I would say Stupid Girl (good guitars but awful chorus) Uk version? Stupid Girl again, but mother's little helper is a close second. One last thing. Lady Jane: great single, but it does not fit in the context of the album. Maybe a little bit more in the more pop-oriented selection of the US version. C

I know that the Wembley June 11, 1999 is often bashed here (my first Stones show in London), but to see the field packed (and I mean packed!) with beautiful englishmen (and women!) with huge beers in their hand ALL merelly singing along with the stones is a treatment. You understand what the concept of playing in your hometown is all about!!! God save General Admission. C

Further info. Someone (thank you bobchill) on a very interesting Italian site dedicated to guitars (accordo.it) noted that in the earlyer pics you can see that K's guitars were equipped with non original bridge (badass) and tuners (grover), while his current Juniors/TV are all original. Who customized the originals? C
