The "One Love" amp Richards’ stock guitar amp setup in the studio is a tweed Fender Champ with an eight-inch speaker, combined with a tweed Fender Harvard modified with a 6L6 output stage tube and a 12” speaker, nicknamed “One Love.” The modification makes the Harvard a single-ended or Class A amp, like the Champ. “The Harvard adds a little bottom end and clarity,” de Beauport exp

Well said, @TheGreek both posts. I'd love to read what Pierre de Beauport has to say ...in his words, with some hardly kown secrets sprinkled in. is it the Broadcaster wiring in “Micawber”? I still don't have Andy Bubiak's Stones Gear Book but I'm under the impression that it's a blotting paper, that sucked up everything offered on the web. including IORR. no pers

Quotebanditpanda Due Pierre de Beauport never answered and I'm still waiting like a decade later here is the question again, I am strongly leaning towards changing my bridge plate and Saddles on my 5 string open G Tele to those as Keith has on Micawber. It will costs me a couple of bills to do so. In your opinion does the brass bridge plate on Micawber set it quite apparently apart tone w

As STTD mentioned, Your ears are the first set of tools. listen and analyse what you have and what's the difference. then you can go to use some tools to try and average the difference. i like to use the Waves, Multiband Compressor or Izotope mastering tools. oh, and I have no idea if that works with Wavepad.

QuoteChris Fountain QuoteTopi QuoteChris Fountain Where can one hear this song? Nowhere yet, if you're talking about Scarlet. If no one has heard it -then what is thread about? How about reading the very first post of this ten year old thread. it explains a lot. even more so, when after ten years this song is coming up for release.

"A spokesperson for ABKCO, the song’s publisher, told Deadline that it had “teamed up” with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards to ask BMI to tell the Trump campaign to stop using their classic 1969 song at the president’s rallies."

QuoteMelBelli Did you happen to notice that that the Stones mistitled their “Learning the Game” video as taking place in 2005? Sadly not atypical for them. That's clearly at Zilker Park in front of 42,000 fans Austin, Texas - 22.10.06 perhaps the underpaid, overworked staff had to test if and how the concusion or recreational stuff works. bless their hearts.

Friday May 8th would have been the start of the 2020 leg of the tour. think of all the bummed out folks that can't get to see the Stones for obvious reasons. makes a lot quite happy. Now if the tour was on and you were about to see every gig of this leg - how many set list differences would you catch ? anyway, I'd only be watching the show updates here on IORR, YT, Periscope twitter

QuoteGivenToFly15 Quoteopen-g QuotePie1 Can anyone make out what book that is on Keith's coffee-table (or is that a trunk ?) ? The keyboard is the first instrument to come in, I think Mick is playing along to that +drums and bass, Ronnie and Keith are playing to the same with Mick's part added. The book probably was Captain Teague's pirate codex. perhaps a household version.
