Only physical releases on fridays. Ghost Town came out on Thursday and I expect a digital only Release of a single this time too. Maybe a physical release later.

Yes, the digital release of a single (streaming services and download) could be at the same time as the announcement. Like the digital 'Forty Licks' re-release on Wednesday, 26-Jul-2023 to celebrate Mick's 80th birthday. 'Ghost Town' in April 2020 was a bit different due to the circumstances of the pandemic. In 2021, the single "Troubles A’ Comin” from the 'Tattoo You' deluxe re-release was digitally released on Thursday, 30-Sep-2021 during the No Filter US-Tour when it was played live in Charlotte (NC).

Doom and Gloom and Just Your Fool were released on a Thursday too. Both and Ghost Town were major releases unlike Forty Licks re-release. So the Friday is not relevant for a single release.

And speaking of years, curious as to what date the oldest outtake they might have used is from, while at the same time wondering what the newest tune they've written/recorded is.
Eagerly waiting to eventually find all of those details out, but after 18 long years, a few more weeks of waiting and wondering should fly by in the blink of an eye!

October almost seems too soon. I would think a single sometime in September to be followed by the album in November.

Well, I did not read all through the first 9 pages but there is a Stones tongue as the dot in the I so it must mean something.

I signed up and sure hope it is not another sign up for points towards merchandise or some other promotion.

This title makes me hopeful. It's far more evocative than Honk or Grrr or A Bigger Bang or Gotta Get a Grip or even Living in a Ghost Town.

Love to see The Rolling Stones diamond poster as the new album cover, that's a cool looking poster I want one
