I like that they are still recalling and using the title of their British breakthrough single "Not Fade Away" in the headliner. The song some stupid journalist asked from them in the press confrerence for European leg of VOODOO LOUNGE Tour why they start the show with such an unknown song. "To make it more well-known", I recall was Mick's answer.

Gotta love Mick. Reminds me of the Bowie-told story about seeing the Stones, and Mick, I think for the first time early on in their career.
Someone was catcalling Mick from the audience, telling him to get a hair cut and Mick replied, according to Bowie and a full cockney accent delivered expertly by Bowie, "WHA? An' look like you?!".
Just brilliant.

Probably shortened to 'Diamonds Tour' (like in 2002: 'Forty Licks' -> 'Licks Tour').

I hope they keep the tour name “Hackney Diamonds Tour” because “Diamonds Tour sounds a bit Elton John

Ok, then 'Hackney Diamonds Tour'. Or a completely new name. 'Hackney' alone would sound a bit like 'Hacker'.

I wonder if they find a venue in Hackney and do a show there…?

It was taken down already.
Somebody's getting fired!
I really hope it's not the case. Even if that artwork was not intended to be published, I'm sure it helped in promoting the new album.
Yeah, that was a tongue-in-cheek comment, really...pun intended!

I got my very first Rolling Stones Album in August 1971 - "STicky Fingers". Soon after I got all their releases ahead of that album, including singles and EPs.
Then there was the wait for their next album, my first "new" release - EXILE. It was building up during the spring of 1972. Then we got NME with the EXILE Flexi. I feel the same now, as I felt during the spring of 1972. A long wait, but now it is happening.
Please keep the teasers coming!
