Sounds like this. In the middle of Get Close you hear somebody walking around or stumbling on something.

Would like to talk a lot about these leaked songs, but feels a bit like getting drunk and spoiling the party before it has even started... I mean, lots of people are following this thread, probably waiting to hear the actual album, and do we Ronnie-like have too big mouths? Or is that actually what people want and expect from us?

Mixed emotions.. (about the issue, not the tracks - I love them!)

For me Get Close is easily better than anything off of ABB, maybe except Back of My Hand.

I had my doubts, but it seems they've pulled it off. So glad they ditched Don Was who was nothing but a yes man.

We were all so unshure/unhappy about Watt being a co-writer.
And now we might wish he had co-written some more....

I like both songs better than Angry.

Sounds like a mixture between later day Stones and Goddess In The Doorway.

The verse of "Get Close" reminds me of the pre-chorus of "Too Far Gone".

Will be interesting to see if the tracks written without Watt has a different feel to them.

How good is quality? Might not listen if it’s just a bad recording.

Ah that's it, TFG, not Don't Tear Me Up (well I suppose it took after DTMU...) is what I was looking for. Always liked that song that got lost in the (very unfair IMHO) treatment received by GITD with too many people happy to go with Keith's cheap talk about it, just as smart as his todger comment, fortunately he's moved on from that kind of crap now.

These songs are certainly very different from Angry and you can see why it would have been chosen as a single over what sounds like "album" tracks. In other words I'm not sure it's worth comparing them...But of course there's the "latest is the best" syndrome Powerage78 is always happy to point out ;-)

Those songs sound great - they just sound really new, inventive and interesting and they are different to a lot of the “standard” Stones stuff we have had for the last 25 years. By “standard” I mean songs like “One More Shot”, which I like but don’t really “push the boat out”

Depending On You reminds me a lot of True Love Tends To Forgot by Bob Dylan - maybe same key/similar melody?? not sure
