QuoteJumpingKentFlash QuoteTopi QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack What was the last time they played She's so Cold and Monkey Man? Madrid 2007 comes to mind. A setlist with those 2 songs can't be wrong. Correct, Madrid 2007 was the last time. Before that, Lyon on the same tour 10 days prior. They played it in Roskilde in 2014. She so cold - Arnhem 2017

The show in London last week was excellent and the two guitars were exquisite and blenging well together. I always thought Doug Pettibone is THE Lucinda guitarist.

QuoteMabru QuoteMartinB Hopefully there will be a tour. No knopfler retired from touring his 2019 tour was his last. And also his producer and keyboardist Guy Fletcher confirmed that touring days are over. What a pity!!!

QuoteSomeGuy I sort of have a natural habit to want to 'see' through the obvious sound aspects of a record and immediately estimate what I think about the songs as compositions and the performance. Therefore, I was aware of the Watt production but it was not in any way a hindrance to enjoy the album. What I'm thinking right now is, is the Watt approach really so '2023'

QuoteBig Al Was Voodoo Lounge not an attempt by Don Was to ‘recreate’ the sound of Exile on Main Street? If not that precisely, it was, at least, a determined effort to make the Stones’ ‘sound’ more ‘classic’ I do think the album has a nice warmth to its feel, and I do, very much, like it’s 60’s-like vibe in tracks like New Faces and The Worst. Love Is Strong is another nod to a sort-of classic a

For me, the album version is the ultimate Stones' song. Not the best but in a way the the essence of Stones. Decadent, overproduced, over-overdubbed, crazy, wild... I love it. They were never able to get anywhere close to the studio version when playing it live.

I very much prefer this stripped down version of the band to an orchestra. I don't care about the mistakes, that's part of the mojo.

Quotecaschimann Reading through all this is so different like back in 2003 for instance. Even during the last tour it was different. More open. More good tempered. More relaxed. But with this new record coming out something happened to this board. And I am not talking about the Waldorf & Stadlers. They belong to the show. I am talking about those dry, analytical, soulless and cold comm

QuoteSpud I'd wager that Mick copped that tuning from Keith right from the start of him using it.. Even if for no other reason than it's being such a fun way to play the guitar... [...especially for those of us perhaps lacking a little technical virtuosity ] yeah, and once you have it in open G than the riff is the most natural thing to play

QuoteMathijs Quotedmay I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that Keith is pictured with a Gibson guitar and not a Telecaster. What is this world coming to? In all reality until 1981 Keith only used a Tele on a couple of open G tracks (mainly Tumbling Dice and JJF/SFM), with the Ted Newman Jones 5-string guitar as main open G guitar in 1973 and the Zemaitis 5-string as main open G guitar in 197
