Not sure Keith said very much new or surprising...

...with at least one remarkable exception: who would have believed that Keith and Bill are on such friendly terms? There have been countless posts suggesting that Bill holds a visceral grudge toward the two principals, and Keith was supposed to resent Bill for "quitting" and whatever else. Another myth disproved...

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, that Keith is pictured with a Gibson guitar and not a Telecaster. What is this world coming to?

In all reality until 1981 Keith only used a Tele on a couple of open G tracks (mainly Tumbling Dice and JJF/SFM), with the Ted Newman Jones 5-string guitar as main open G guitar in 1973 and the Zemaitis 5-string as main open G guitar in 1975/1976. Keith moved to the Telecaster as main guitar when they started using Boogie amps in 1978, with him using a Tele on just about all songs on the 1981 tour.

He used the black tele in 1978 tour a lot, I think

..and that "bitsa" Tele with the Rosewood neck... which later got partnered with the Rosewood body to feature on the 81/82 tours.

Yes, he used it in standard tuning for Star Star and Sweet Little Sixteen. Probably more numbers, too.

The Tele feels like his "signature" look but he plays those Gibsons all the time on Gimme Shelter and many others. I see the clip of him playing the Gibson on When the Whip Comes Down at the Garden in '02 (I think) come by all the time where he is pissed off at Mick for playing too loud. Very funny

Cheers,
Wuudy
