The name of the boot cd is "The Nature Of My Game". The cover has a pic of Mick on it with the title on the spine, back cover and cd itself. The fold out insert states "A Collection Of Fiery Blues Covers Recorded Live In The Studio". There is no song listings. No indication of who the artist is. There is alot of tape hiss as others have stated. If anyone has a song listin

Big Al and everyone else is right, try the London Pride. If you who don't like heavy beer, try a Shandy, beer and lemonade (7UP). For those of you from 'the colonies' who have heard UK food is horrible, not true. There are so many 'ethnic' eateries that you can find plenty good food. But with the dollar to the pound at an all time low, be prepared for sticker shock.

Thanks tjkeef for reminding me that my Anaheim tix were only $12.50 as compared to $450 in Las Vegas. How times have changes. Check out the Most Paid thread I started. Scotty

The most I've paid is $550 for the last Hard Rock Las Vegas show w/Soloman Burke. Probably the worst money I ever spent. Stuck in the back, crammed against the bar, behind a post. I could hardly see them. We where packed in like sardines. It was as hot as hell. I was waitin' for the fire marshall to shut the show down. Scotty

Gonna see Squeeze at the Grove in Anaheim. Was going to see Hugh Cornwell, ex Stranglers vocalist, at the Galaxy in Santa Ana and the Roxy in Hollywood but he's postponed his west coast dates. Go Go's at the House of Anything But The Blues Anaheim. Social Distortion at the same venue. Scotty

There are two new Chuck Berry bootleg dvds out. They are called Chuck Berry Rock & Roll. The first volume has Chuck with Tina Turner from the Roxy in 1982 and 5 Hail! Hail! R&R outtakes. The second volume has a 1972 BBC concert and Chuck on The Mike Douglas show with John Lennon. This clip is halarious. Chuck and John start singing Memphis Tennessee. Yoko chimes in with her yelping

There seems to be alot of anger about this thread, and other similar posts. For 99.9% of us, this is the only way to get current news about our favorite band. For those of you that feel only 'good' threads should be posted, start your own website. Maybe call it 'Only The Good News Stones Website'. This site allows us to discuss EVERYTHING about the band, good and bad. Che

There are many Zep stereo boots, both audio and video. When CD technology finally was available to bootleggers, the floodgates seemed to open up, and high quality recordings started to pour out. Seattle '77 is stereo soundboard. Yes, Zurich '80 stereo soundboard. I believe this is the last concert before Bonham died, but don't quote me on this. There are also many stereo studio

The size of the fan base means nothing, absolutely nothing. Look at all the pro shot/recorded dvd/cds out there. Much of it recorded by the band themselves. If the Stones cared, they'd put it out. Instead of the cheezy t-shirts and stuff they sell on the website, they could sell dvds/cds. The cost is minimal and it's pure profit. They own the stuff. Maybe it's Allen Klein that

To all the people whining that boots steal from the band, get a life. Most people who buy the boots ALREADY have ALL the legit stuff. We are the ones who run out and buy the albums, cd singles, $450 concert tix for multiple shows etc. If the Stones really cared, they'd issue this stuff. Zappa finally wised up with his Beat The Boots series. I talked to Ian Copeland about Police boots at

Sohoe - I just went to the website, and they appear to have pulled the 'achives'. There's an iPod link for archived shows but I don't know if theres a charge. I hope not!! Today Steve played '10,000 Light Years...'. They replay Steves first hour from 6 -7pm PST. I'm listening to it right now. He just played Rush's version of 'Summertime Blues

Lukester, At that time Indie 103.1 was just starting up and they rebroadcast several of their shows in the wee hours to fill up the time. At that time it was just an hour show, 4 days a week if memory serves me. They finally convinced Steve to expand to 2 hours, 5 days a week. Thankfully for us here in SoCal. Steve is the coooolest person on the radio right now. For so long the only way to hea

It's time for a reality check for all of you whining about Glastonbury. The 'Summer of Love' is over and rock 'n' roll is now a business. And the Stones are at the top of the heap. People always complain about the Stones ticket prices but look at what it takes to put this show on the road. All the mouths too feed. How many semi's/people did it take to cross Americ

Many thanks to Koen for the correct link. Guess I should go online and type BEFORE I go to the bar. Hic! If anyone from Keith's camp is reading these posts, Keith really needs to drop by Steve's show next week. Keith and Steve's love of reggae could make for a very interesting show. Scotty Irvine, CA

Hey everyone, if ya don't know, check out Steve Jones(Sex Pistols) radio show on the web. He plays a Stones song almost everyday. Most of the time really obscure stuff. He has great in-studio guests. During an interview with Robyn Hitchcock, they both agreed that Keith is the only guy they'd walk across the street to meet. He's a major Stones fan. He admitted the other day he

I have searched the 'Tell Me' pages and don't know if this question has been posted. I'm sure it has but .... Is the Sunday London O2 show possibly the last Stones show? The Stones have never said when they will stop touring. Charlie is getting up there and he can't go on forever. Stupid me missed Cream at RAH and I don't want to miss this. Any Thoughts? I'

Best active drummer, other than Charlie? Number two on my list is Clem Burke from Blondie. He plays like Keith Moon. His drumming on 'Union City Blues' is fantastic. Plus he's one of the niceist guys you'll ever meet. Scotty
