The best tribute they did was at Chuchs Funeral in 2002, what an amazing thing that was. One and only time they ever played that song live

QuoteLuxuryStones The Some Girls album and onwards at that time. But when it comes to songwriting and craftsmanship I liked ABBA more already. this is a very weird statement.....Some girls is an amazing album with 2 #1 hits....its the most diverse album ever, with the exception of maybe the white album. Disco, country, punk, soul, blues, new age. Some girls is a masterpiece.

i do appreciate the fact they have tried to do it differently every tour. 89 it was fast, 94 it was more organ led, 97 we got the loooooooong version where mick would lick lisas feet on stage....During Licks, when they would do 3 Some girls songs on the b stage and mick would whip out the harp, that was very very cool......BB saw the moving stage during that number with a more stripped down versi

QuoteJuanTCB LSTNT is sped up and butchered, for starters. That said, I'd kill for a straight release of that Phoenix show. Unedited and not sped up, of course. AGREED

QuoteJustin QuoteDoomandGloom Quote71Tele Put me down in the "despise" camp...It's not so much him personally. It's the fact that they are willing to tolerate mediocre keyboard playing precisely because they do need him in the role of setlistmaster-song counter-offer. Those who point out how "necessary" he is sometimes don't realize the full context of what they

After watching the clip of silver train, there is several times the mick goes to chuck cause he's lost or needs ques or what not....Chuck plays a key roll, and i think that if it wasn't for him, they would be playing the same exact set night after night

This was the tour that really shaped how rock music is presented live and they did it right....before then people were just playing theatres and clubs, when the stones started hanging speakers and playing arenas it changed everything.....and of course, every tour they would expand and grow and set new standards

anyone who was around for the licks tour knows that the one of the big highlights of that tour was the 3 Night stay in NYC... 9/26 At the Garden, 9/28 at The Old Giants Stadium, and 9/30 at the Roseland Ballroom. Last Night for the closing of the roseland ballroom...Dave Letterman and (his favorite guest) Bill Murry led the entire audience out of the ed sullivan theatre and into the roseland

they are at the Colosseum, not in it, there is no seating inside as it is all blocked off or destroyed/dangerous to sit on there. it would be impossible to do. no area for a stage. I believe both Macca and Elton played outside

QuoteAquamarine QuoteHis Majesty QuoteAquamarine It's an incredibly old story, which Lori has been riding for decades (and making clear it was entirely consensual). Would you be happy if you had a 14 year old daughter and she was willingly getting banged by Jimmy Page... and a whole host of other rockers? Tis old news, but still. erk. No, of course not. That wasn't my point, HM
