Here is first call sheet of many that set the crew and group moving forward. (R.I.P. Barry Fey)

Bill Belmont prepared the call sheets for Chipmonck..The best laid plans of mice and men.

Can't see your attachment bemuseed. Could repost it please? The '69 tour is my favorite so I will definitely be listening to the recordings I have.

Yes, 45 years ago tomorrow, Nov. 8, I witnessed the unforgettable 1st show at the LA Forum. As the years go on, I realize more and more what a privilege that was.

DaveG----Lucky guy.

I was only 11 but they were clearly the
BEST of the BEST in 69.

I still love everything from that tour. They
looked and sounded so cool.

If you click on the site, then Photo Gallery, then photo 12 of 33, you see a photo of "the guitar players" presumably headed to the stage. I have seen that photo before and it still gives me a tingle. At that moment they exuded confidence, competence and by today's standards an almost reckless daring. Love that photo! Here it is:

45 years ago today I was getting ready to see my first Stones concert at the Forum, 2nd show. Many have posted about that night, but I want to mention again what a crazy day and night that was at that venue. There was a hockey game played in the afternoon. Then an ice rink had to be converted into a concert hall. There were TWO shows scheduled that night with FOUR acts: Terry Reid, B.B. and Ike & Tina. 15,000 or so needed to exit the arena while 15,000 or so wanted desperately to get in. Crowded, chaos? You bet! Things were running so far behind that the early show got shorted...I think...two songs. There were long waits between acts for the 2nd show. Because the night was running so late it was announced that Terry Reid would not perform a 2nd show. Good! Who cares? Finally (and as I recall) the Stones took the stage around 2:00 a.m. The 2nd show got the full set list. Jagger said words to the effect that you waited a long time and we will stay a long while. I think the show concluded around 3:30 a.m., but I have seen different times mentioned by others. I still remember the impression those deliberate opening chords of the show had on me. Very cool, very sexy. They grabbed you.

Most (or all?) of those are Ethan Russell's photos, I think?
There are indeed some beautiful shots there

Stones62, I have written here about that show many times. If yoiu click on "search" and use the key words "LA Forum" and DaveG, you will see them all. It was a memorable show and I remember a great deal about it, especially how different they sounded with Mick Taylor, and how far they had come from the band they had been to this blues-based rock band. It was extraordinary.

This was the tour that really shaped how rock music is presented live and they did it right....before then people were just playing theatres and clubs, when the stones started hanging speakers and playing arenas it changed everything.....and of course, every tour they would expand and grow and set new standards

.....keep on rolling.....
